It's been a while, anyone have anything?

1. I am 38w1d as of today and so freaking tired. No matter what I do I just can't shake it. Almost there...

2. DH has found so many projects he wants to work on around our new house but I told him no more until after we have baby boy and are in a routine. He's been good about it or if he does a project he involves DD, which she loves!

3. DH brought DD sledding a couple weeks ago and they broke her sled so he decided he'd build her one. He tried it out this past weekend and it works really well but it's super fast (makes me nervous with DD).

4. We've gotten a ton of snow over the last week after not having anything and I'm ready for spring! Its up to my knees and still going...

5. I'm nervous to have a newborn again, mainly because I know this time will be so much different with having a 2 year old (not being able to plop on the couch all day etc.).

6. I hope we can get into a good routine quickly (DD thrives off routine), DD doesn't become resentful of mommy, and I still can function without loosing my patience with the new chaos.

7. I really hope I don't go into labor during a snow storm, ugh the thought is seriously making me so anxious.

8. MIL asked DH if I wanted a baby sprinkle 2 weeks ago. I wonder when she was going to throw one if I had agreed, it seems really late for that. (I declined since I was pretty sick at the time, too tired and overwhlemed with everything that needed to get done still).

9. I feel so bad that I haven't been able to do as much with DD as I was, its just so hard to bring her places alone at this point. DH has been tying to help me out a bit more with that when he gets off work.

10. Sorry this has pretty much been all about the new baby, its all I think about these days. I guess that was one good thing with the 1st pregnancy, I worked up until labor started.

1) I sliced my thumb with the food processor blades the yesterday when washing dishes. This makes it hard to swipe on my phone. I'm always mobile here.
2) Gwen is doing really well, always busy. We're going to try story time at the library today.
3) Hoping we can meet some people to be friends with. We moved here in August and I know exactly 0 people.
4) I'm so, so exhausted. DS will not sleep longer than 2-3 hours. It's typically 1 hour stretches all. night. long.
5) DH is potentially picking up a small side job to fabricate something for his employer. This could potentially be 3k profit for him, which would mean a nice vacation this year.
6) I'm trying to not get too excited about #5
7) I think I get to hang out with my friends this Saturday, which I'm pretty excited about. Shopping and lunch out.
8) I think we're just having leftovers for dinner. We have so many.
9) Is anyone interested in trying to resurrect this board? We could do a post challenge or something?
10) I am already ready for warmer weather. It's been cold here in Ohio!

1. DD1 is so much fun. This age is great! I've started writing down funny things that she says. Where do they come up with this stuff?! Yesterday's favourite quote: "Aaralee fart on grandma's bed. Oh my goodness Aaralee!" Everything is in 3rd person over here.

2. DD2 just turned 7 months old. She's crawling everywhere, standing up on everything, and just so darn busy! I'm tired. Haha.

3. Sleep is hit or miss over here as well. She got 4 teeth in 3 weeks in December so it was terrible for awhile and slowly improving.

4. We went to Mexico the first week of the month with both kids! It was a lot of work, but we had so much fun and my girls loved spending so much time outside.

5. It's been so cold here that we've spent a lot of time indoors. I'm feeling pretty cooped up and the kids are driving me a bit crazy. Haha.

6. DD1 is so, so bossy! I think that's a normal 2 year old thing, so I sympathize with the rest of you ladies.

7. My friend is coming over tomorrow so that I can take photos of her baby for his 6 months. Time has gone by so fast lately.

8. I'm in first birthday Pinterest mode. I'll need lots of time to DIY stuff because the Canadian dollar is terrible right now and most of my online shopping is from the US.

9. I wish that we had Hobby Lobby! That place is amazing!

10. I've been going to the gym on a pretty regular basis and ALMOST back to my pre-baby shape. It's been tough though!

mommabakes-- is there a MOPS group where you are? I've never been myself, but have heard it is a great way to meet other moms with kids close in age (not just for preschool age). Sorry to hear about your finger! Ouch!

sugarkissed I'm always jealous of your beach vacations! Did you get a nice photo of the 4 of you on the beach? Or at least the kiddos? I loved the one with the little sombreros

1. Yesterday the kids went to the babysitter since I was supposed to work, but the girl who works opposite of me asked me to switch days. I spent 7 hours painting WHITE in our bedroom--- ceiling, molding and trim. I can't wait to add color!

2. I just had a craving for two McDonald's double cheeseburgers- I hadn't had them in so long and they hit the spot!

3. Just took DD2 for her 9 month appt. 75% for height and weight and doing age appropriate stuff-- woo! Growing up way too fast

4. DD1 is full of it and makes me laugh every day. Today she threw her fake coffee out in her kitchen sink because it was "old". My husband's favorite restaurant is called Ichiban and she calls it "itchy buns" lol

5. Working part time has been a great adjustment for our family- I'm feeling like I actually am keeping ahead of housework and the constant snow in the driveway. The extra time with the girls has been awesome.

6. It's been over a year now since DD1s lung surgery and DD2s hip dysplasia has been resolved since October- it's such a blessing to have that all behind us.

7. DH turns 32 in a few weeks and won't tell me what he wants for his birthday other than warm socks. I think I'm going to attempt to make a seafood dish for him (I'm allergic). Anyone have a good, easy recipe?

8. Our 5 year old lab has decided that pooping on our rug every night is better than in the cold snow. Guess who is back in a crate? It's been 4 years since we had to use it last WTF dog

9. DD1 and DD2 are starting to play well together and I love it. I can't wait to watch them grow up together.

10. I need to figure out how to get their naps to coordinate. DD2 naps around 10:30 and 3:30 and DD1 naps from 1:30-4 when she's in the mood for naps. We took away her binky and now naps have been few and far between. I would love a few hours mid day to reset the house and my brain haha

fiveohfive Thanks for checking on me. We are good. DD#2 is already a month old and getting so big!

Heyy!!! I'm still here. I've been spending lots of time trying to do as little as possible before baby gets here. I'm 27 weeks today and 12 weeks left to go before he'll be here! We're scheduling for a repeat C Section at 39 weeks. Things have been going good. The night time charlie horses have been a killer and it has been happening just about every night. I'm tired of having to fly out of bed and attempt to walk it off, which most of the time I just have to wait for it to let go on its own. Last night was in my inner thigh. Massaging it only made it angrier and I was howling throughout the house and woke everyone up. I was so miserable last night.

Other than that, baby boy is doing great. He's a little active boy and loves to drum both feet on my bladder. I was just telling my husband I need to start getting my ass in gear and start setting up his room and get some baby clothes or he'll be wearing his sister's newborn clothes, which is all pink. lol
