DD didn't have a name until like..12 hours after she was born.
Us too. We were team green and had a boy name, but like 5 girl names. It was nice to meet her and then choose the name. Plus DH let me pick because my labor was so long and not pleasant.
After laying down all I realized was I want a bottle of good Chardonnay. Not a small glass but like a full bottle. I can't keep a pb&j down but the urge for wine is strong all of sudden. #FFWC
The only craving I had with DD was wine. I got Fre it's not the same as wine, but it was good enough. It is wine that has had all the alcohol removed.

We have 3 days to fill out the birth certificate in our state. We take up until we leave the hospital (I have c-sections, so that can be 3 days but last time due to begging and pushing myself we got to go after only 2).
I love looking online. H is very old school. We check out about 5 name books from the library and he goes through and writes down any he likes on an actual piece of paper with his actual favorite pencil.

I have a very irrational annoyance. This girl I know just named her daughter Gabriella (great name) but she only refers to her as Ella. It does not affect my life in any way yet it drives me bonkers. Ella is such a popular, trendy name right now (with Eleanor, Eloise, Elianna, Elsa) so in my head I'm like "But that nickname has always been Gabby, why the heck would it not be Gabby?!" lol
I love uncommon names and DH loves common names. This causes a lot of issues. Whenever I ask him to suggest names he likes he will say he can't think of any. However, when I say all the names I like, he vetos them.
I feel like I have been Mia forever! I have an ultrasound today had an appt yesterday with the ob and he was concerned about my cramping this weekend so really crossing my fingers everything looks ok in there!
We'll that didn't go as planned baby b is doing great measuring on track with a nice heart beat of 173 Bpm. I though baby a was perfect to but sounds like they saw something on the scan they are concerned about. Baby a is measuring on track with hb of 176 Bpm but I have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the abnormality is... All I know is I have to go back in two weeks and see the doc right after that appt I'm crossing my fingers it's something that isn't to big of a concern but right now I'm freaking out a bit

Big hugs. I hope it's okay, too. Hopefully it's something minor.
I was supposed to do this full blown dinner but I'm so tired. I'm thinking a baked, creamy chicken over rice. Any good recipes out there? I didn't see anything on my google search that screamed delicious.

DH says when I have wine at communion while pregnant I moan in satisfaction
My aunt didn't have a name until a week after she was born.
One of my SILs went 6 months before she had a name. My in-laws called her Missy in the meantime. (Which is odd, because the name they picked is not at all similar to Missy.)

Six months! That would be tough. I can see calling a little girl Missy (Little Miss).

Crossing everything that they are both okay, kaitkat. How stressful.
kaitkat, Hugs! Crossing all the tings that its nothing major!
In exciting news, I found out that my dream job is currently available and am currently polishing off my cover letter. Its a FT municipal prosecutor position in my home town. I'm really involved in the community so I'm hoping it helps me get an interview. The other prosecutor is putting in a good word for me so we'll see. I'll panic over how to deal with the pregnancy issue if I get an interview. I already run my own firm, so its not like I planned to take a long ML... have any of you ladies interviewed while KU?
Evening! I had my 8 week appointment and scan today and everything is looking good! Heartbeat 167 and my due date was pushed back one day to 9/1, but I'll probably still hang out here

I do have a few coworkers who were hired around 4-5 months. My company gave them 12 weeks, but I don't think the qualified for STD.
On the other hand one of the people on my BMB interviewed and got a verbal offer at which point she told them she was pregnant. They called her back the next day and said they went with another candidate. So don't tell them anything until the offer is written down.
