Thank you so much everyone!! I'm really hoping they just didn't tell me because it's not serious and or urgent! On the bright side they don't share a placenta so that's good and DD now shares my love for pickles haha so that's helping distract me
Praying for your babies, kaitkat! I hope they can give you answers tomorrow.
DH made a delicious dinner tonight. I'm so glad my morning sickness is easing up! Unfortunately (for my weight gain) my sweet tooth has also come back with a vengeance.

I just woke up from a glorious 3 hour nap. Sooo good!
kaitkat, hopefully it's nothing! Early ultrasounds are not so clear so sometimes they can be hard to interpret... they're probably erring on the side of better safe than sorry but maybe next scan they'll fons everything looks fine! Glad they saw 2 placentas.
We have been caring for a 1.5 yr old for almost a week now. Wow what a change in routine!
To add another bump in the routine, SO went to the dr today and found out he has the flu. His temp was 103 so he got Ibprofin right away while still waiting to see the dr. And they had to try to take his blood pressure 3 times before getting anything they could write down. It ended up being 96/50. He is old in body I told him and that he'll have to take low BP medicine as he gets older. We got flu shots this year so he got a special kind of flu I guess.
I have been complaining about feeling worse than normal for the past week plus but wrote it off as pregnancy related. I'm wondering if I already have it too.

You guys, I am kind of freaking out. On top of feeling generally better the last few days (and I'm only 10 weeks, so on the early side for feeling better), I'm having some serious back pain right now. Logically I can probably chalk it up to a very busy day trying to get prepared for the blizzardy weekend ahead, but PgAL brain is not happy.
DH tried to give me a break, but he was attempting to cook tomorrow's dinner since I work late, give the girls baths, and get everyone into bed. I don't know how I'm supposed to be able to guzzle water and keep my feet up with two kids. Oy.
That looks good! I've never had Swedish meatballs if I'm being honest.
::hangs head in shame::
I actually don't think I have either! I've never made a roux, I've never made a meatball! I used lamb for the meatballs and I had to alter it for my skill level, like cooking them in the oven to ensure doneness. But it came out great haha
gratefulgirl I'm not quite ten weeks and I'm feeling much much better too. Hopefully we are both just lucky. I think you're just right with the back pain explanation too. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
kaitkat Good thoughts for you. It's horrible they left you wondering and didn't tell you what's going on!
I'm actually feeling motivated to grade tonight. I think a new marking period has inspired me. I'm also prepping tomorrow's dinner and doing laundry. What a night for me!
My appointment today went well! One little gummy bear bouncing around like crazy on the handheld u/s screen. Always a huge relief!
Also he wrote me a script for a different PNV because mine is so awful--at some point the manufacturer decided they didn't want to put a coating on the tablet anymore, and now it sticks in my throat and makes me gag. Lame.

Back pain can be totally normal in pregnancy! FX everything is ok. :-)

Don't even get me started on a roux. My H makes me so mad because he can whip out all this perfect stuff without even trying. I'm pretty sure I cried last time I made a roux.

The key to making a roux is to not stop whisking.
H? Is that you? I'm just kidding! mine still turns out lumpy. I can do sausage gravy and that's about it.

I'm just over 10 weeks and generally doing a lot better. Not perfect, but my energy level is back and I feel "like me" again. Maybe we are heading out of the 1st tri?

I think so. But don't tell my H, because sometimes I still like to play it up and sit on the couch.
I'm making spaghetti in chicken broth mixed with grape tomatoes, garlic, and basil. We're serving it with salmon with pesto sauce on the salmon. Apparently it smells really good. I wouldn't know because my nose hates me and smells nothing right now.
I'm intrigued theophania. Your smeller is just off? I ask because mine goes into ultra sensitive mode. It's super annoying and I didn't realize that it could go the other way.

I'm pretty sure she's sick and had a stuffy nose, hence the not bring able to smell anything. ;)
