Not sure who lurks on parenting or who kept their bump account. According to the newest information on parenting, TB has changed the terms of use that they are now the owners of everything you post (comments, pics, etc). Just want to keep everyone in the loop in case you want to delete it now.
There is a thread on the BumpHQ board that is called deletion request. You are supposed to either post there or PM bumpcaitlyn (or someone) or email the bump at the email in that thread. I did all 3 to be on the safe side.
One thing I noticed is it says it takes 48 hours but if you log in during that time, you get reinstated.
Basically the bump was planning on changing the terms of use to prevent anyone from saying anything negative, snarky, or "mean". Including GIFs, pics, etc. Quite a few mods voiced their concern and offered feedback. They happened to allude to the coming changes on parenting (and I think a few other boards). They banned all the mods who mentioned it saying that they broke their confidentiality agreement (Which apparently didn't exist). Parenting got pissed and was vocal about it. They then banned a ton of users again with no warning. Then people started burning the village, the bump blames it on a few bad apples and hackers. All banned members cry bullshit. People speak out on their behalf and viola, more bannings.
They've now also marked AmyG as a troll and hid her posts even though all she did was give some constructive feedback about the changes.
The bump removed all mods and put In place paid moderators. Now people are getting warned and getting posts removed if the post is deemed not supportive. People have been posting copies of the warnings they got and some of them are for comments that are constructive just not puppies and rainbows. Basically you can say OmG I'm 3 weeks pregnant and I can feel the baby kicking. And if someone dares correct them, bam warning.
