Somebody already peed on the first thread so I guess I'll just be over here.
I used to go to D14, starting before the mass exodus at TD. I couldn't get used to tapatalk etc, and I kinda petered off a few months after the move here was made- lots of my fav ladies disappeared into the abyss, some made an FB group that I didn't join, I was busy with a newborn, blah blah etc. I've been back to lurk here and there.
My first pregnancy was 2.5 years ago, took 7 months of serious effort (not assisted reproduction but opks, preseed, temping, all the fun stuff) and we lost him at 24 months, to discover he had significant birth defects. 3 months of the same TTC efforts after recovery and I was pregnant with my now 13 month old son, who is amazeballs. At first we thought about being one and done (DS was a hellion til 6 months old, when he then became perfect and incredible) but became open to another...maybe. We decided we would casually NTNP starting February... of 2017.
I bought opks again this month so I'd know when sex was "safe" in order to not get preg (we use condoms, I know you wanna know). I've had 30-40 day cycles since DS was born (BFing weaned last week). We were in the mood and went for it soon after my period ended, like a pair of horny teenagers (but I think we did pause the episode of iZombie on Netflix, so that was responsible)....and I had a positive opk next day. We've always joked that we are NOT the fertile-est of myrtles, so I figured "no way." We all know that odds are like less than 30% on any given cycle on a GOOD month, right?
Due 10/3.
Looking forward to hearing your stories!
ETA: out of curiosity, just read that at my age (31) apparently odds of conception are 15% or less. I need to play more lotto
