I'm working for a few hours this morning to make up some time. Then we're going to my cousin's daughter's birthday party. I'm tired and I wish I could stay in bed all day.
But I will be heading to your house to eat today, youdontsay!
MH just called and surprised me. We have a garage that we use one side for storage and one side we use for my car when it snows. This year the garage was turned into a temporary work station for some home projects so there was no way I could park my car in there. Well, he told me he cleared out my side of the garage so I can park my car in there!!!!!! I'm so happy!
The snow just recently started sticking here. We aren't expected to get too much, but enough to go play in it. Today we will clean the house and watch the snow fall. I'm hoping to make some bread to go with whatever we decide for dinner.
It is not snowing here and there is No chance it will. We may Go pick some strawberries today if we all feel vaguely well. For some reason my autocorrect wants me to sound like William Shatner.

I'm chilling watching Netflix. It's snowing here which means we'll be staying in for the rest of the weekend. We got a top of ice yesterday and snow on top of that just makes roads crazy here. I wish they used salt in SC to put on the roads! Oh well, I'll stay cuddled in my blankets holding my kitty (he's loving all this extra snuggle time having us here all day yesterday).

I guess DS really needed some sleep last night. I put him to bed at 5:30 because he was driving me nuts. I fully expected him to wake up by 5 this morning and not want to go back to sleep. Yeah, he didn't wake up until 7:30.
Snow here as well & it's still coming down. We probably have close to 10"-12" and the projected total for our area is NMT 20" I think. Also - just found out from a girlfriend that FiOS is offering access to all premium channels this weekend. Probably the best thing about them since we decided to switch! (She's in the DC area and I'm a little South so haven't checked yet if we have it but for the ladies up North, check it out!)

I haven't moved from bed yet but I'm feeling a billion times better than yesterday. It must have been food poisoning. Which is good cause I was planning on getting myself a free B-Day steak tonight! And I don't think I showed you guys, but my DD turned one on Wednesday and this is going to be our announcement

We are having some couples and their kids over this afternoon/evening. I'm so excited about the food I'm making and what everyone else is brining. I just asked all the girls- "whose gonna watch the kids while we eat?" I really hate when parenting gets in the way of my eating.
I'm jealous of everyone's whose littles are sleeping in. DS gave me my wake up call at 4:45 but I was excited to show him the snow so it wasn't too bad. We have about 13 inches here before I feel asleep at 9 for a nap. I woke up starving so that's about to happen

All the snow in DC makes me miss it terribly. I'm craving wegmans and a snow day:( I asked H if we could pretend it's a snow day but he looked at me like I'm nuts.
foxxytwt DS1 used to regularly wake up at 430. We did weekly grocery shopping at 630am on Sarurdays since we were up anyway. at almost 4 he now sleeps in regularly. It's fantastic. There is light at the end of the sleepless tunnel.
