Eh, I should have known better. I did know better! But I let it slip anyway. The thing about my family is that they LOVE talking about names. It has seriously been a topic of dinner conversation all my life on a very regular basis. As soon as they found out I was pregnant it kicked into high gear. That doesn't mean they get to be rude or I plan to let them dictate what I name my child. DH is already saying that the name isn't quite sitting right and he isn't sure he likes it as much as he did (the name is Cal.vin, incidentally, and I can certainly see how it isn't to some people's taste, but I like it). So we have months to either settle on it and change it, and now I have my list of people who don't get to know until the birth cert is already signed *sticks tongue out at relatives*

My friend is having a baby this week! I'm so excited. And 2nd tri energy I actually managed to finish a little hat for him. Now to work on the baby and matching big sis rompers I'm going to attempt to make!

It just hit me that in 4 months I will be in "baby any day" territory. Now I'm freaking out!!! What have I been doing for 5 months?! OMG this is too fast!
txmommy14, I am full panel maternity pants all the way. The low panel feel way too tight and like they're squeezing these poor babies.
Saturday DH and I went to Babies R Us to start our registry. Damn. I have done so much online research and knew most of the big items we wanted to register for, and it was still so overwhelming! But I'm glad it's started so I can do some tinkering online now.
Today, MIL and her H came down to spend the afternoon with us. We of course talked baby most of the time. It was a nice visit.

I've cut a finger on each hand today. One was my right thumb which now makes doing anything on my phone requiring double the effort. I'm such a klutz today.
DH did buy me a new toaster, new ninja blender, and new Columbia winter jacket today so I can't complain.
I'm feeling uncomfortably huge and I don't know how my stomach is supposed to get bigger? Like, this is the smallest it's going to be for the next 5 months??

I remember when I was around 22 weeks in my first pregnancy making a comment to a coworker who had had several children about how big I felt and how all my organs felt squished and out of place. Bless her heart she didn't say a single thing to me, but just smiled for a really long time.
My biggest thing right now on the "this is going to keep getting worse/bigger??" front is the acid reflux. Certainly there is still plenty of room still in there for my digestive juices, right? So why do they keep ending up in my throat? I bent down to pick up a sock off the floor yesterday and I swear that acid came out of my mouth. I hope that it doesn't get any worse than this, but I know better!
