****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

cetcar, yup, newborns are a ton of work! And if you're feeling overwhelmed and like you can't believe what you got yourself into, that is totally normal. It doesn't mean you don't want or love your baby. It's a huge adjustment and lack of sleep and post-partum hormones (which are probably in full swing now) don't make it any easier. It does get easier, though. And the sleep (usually) gets better. And the hormones subside.

Hi everyone, and thanks again for the notes!! We're still doing well, spending all day(s) feeding, cleaning, napping, and snuggling. The little lady is so sweet & after meeting with a great lactation consultant, she's feeding well, and letting us get some naps (not necessarily at night...but we'll take it).
Still working on the birth story, but since we can't help ourselves, here's a few more pics of Miss Maddylou
