2) it's the first time we have gotten back from vacation, where she got used to sleeping with us in the bed, that she didn't freak out and want to sleep with us!
3) house hunting is exhausting
4) I'm obsessed and look out houses all the time even if they're aren't any new listings in our area. I just look at ones we are considering that I already looked at!
5). I'm really glad we are home. I'm looking forward to doing boring stuff with C today , like walking the dog and going to the store.
6) I'm super excited about the new babies around here!!

1. I'm beyond excited for kh826 and her family! I remember waiting for Lucie the first time, and the shock of meeting William instead. How incredibly lovely that she's finally here!!!
2. I got up early and put a brisket in the crockpot this morning. I'll make mashed potatoes when I get home and dinner is served!
3. I'm intending to use the leftovers (of which there will be a ton - it's a 3 lb brisket for two of us) to make Mexican tomorrow night. I can't decide between tostados and burritos, but I'm more excited for the leftovers than I am about tonight's dinner.
4. In two unrelated incidents this week, people have approached me (who I know and see regularly) and said "Oh my gosh, you're C's wife?!? I totally didn't recognize you!!" I see these people every. single. day. One of them I've waitressed with for the past month, and the other are regulars who I waited on last night. We see them every single day at the diner we go to for breakfast.
5. It's super busy at work today, and I'm not at all motivated to get anything done. So I'll hang out here with you all instead!
6.Dave Matthews' concert schedule came out, and he's at a venue this summer that is 15 minutes from my mom's house. I've totally already reserved her to babysit that night. I'm SO flipping excited.
7. It seems our healthcare saga has been resolved. We still won't have coverage until March 1st, but I got notification this week that our enrollment has gone through. Yay!
8. I had a teeny tiny bit of hope that we'd squeeze in a babymoon before the kiddos come, but my request for time off was declined at work (I requested Valentine's day weekend off, so not totally unexpected, but still a bummer).
9. I'm always amazed at how quickly I run out of interesting things to say.
1. I'm helping my BFF move to her dream home today!
2. I'm counting that as my workout for the day.
3. Still haven't started my period, but I'm 99% sure I'm not pregnant. I would have to implanted really late to be pregnant this cycle. Please body make a decision!
4. My mom's hair started to fall out from the chemo so she got it cut real short last night.
5. She is dealing with this cancer thing with such grace, I love her so much.
6. We move in 4 months and I'm getting antsy.
7. We're heading to the mountain for a little getaway tomorrow night. No skiing, but we'll go tubing and play in the snow!
8. I'll be 31 on Friday, holy crap!
9. We're going out to dinner with my closest friends to celebrate. Right now I'm planning on many drinks.

1. One of my BFFs from high school (25 year ago - so not recently!) posted this totally right wing BS diatribe about Syrian refugees and said if people didn't agree they could defriend her. I am torn. I stay totally apolitical on my FB page and keep my FB page strictly to my kids and random stuff about us (I probably post 1x/week if that..) and don't tend to engage in political stuff at all on FB. On one hand, this is someone I may or may not see again and who I haven't actually talked to in 5-6y versus standing for my principals/political beliefs. Other people have argued that the information she was posting wasn't accurate and she lambasted them so a 'discussion' isn't in the cards.
2. My right contact has been bugging the crap out of me all day.
3. I am home again today. Kids now don't have school again tomorrow - so L is staying home tomorrow (well, she works from home, but had meetings all day today - so the kids would have been relegated to tv watching and computer playing all day.) At least tomorrow she has an eye appt and will take the kids to lunch and out of the house.
4. We met friends to see Norm of the North (not good..), have lunch, and walk around the mall for a bit. I came home and cleared off L's car, shoveled 2/3 of our deck, and had to shower because I was so sweaty.
5. I feel like I have done so.much.laundry since being snowed in.
6. L wants to go to dinner because she is going stir crazy - she hasn't left the house since Saturday. I am fine staying in.
7. I have a mess at work that I am trying to figure out how to handle...
8. I took the kids to sled on the huge hill yesterday. So.much.fun. And the kids were dead tired.
9. We need new sleds. Ours got trashed in this snow.
10. I am excited for all of the new babies on the board!
1. I'm feeling pretty crappy today. Not physically, just mentally. I can't figure out how to make my life work. I realize big picture things are awesome but I am never content with normal or status quo and always want bigger and better. This is all made worse by not sleeping last night.
2. I know lots of you got snowed in but we are having a really mild winter (I have only shoveled twice) and I am loving it. I live near the Great Lakes and we typically get hammered with snow all winter long.
3. I took O and the dog out yesterday. I let the dog off the leash because I knew he needed to burn some energy. I am so paranoid though because it's not an off leash area. Not paranoid of a ticket or anything just of bothering others but I can't stand when people have their dogs off leash. There are no off leash areas in the city. He's really good as long as there aren't other dogs around and then he just has no social skills so that gets him in trouble. It was awesome to see him run and just be a dog.
4. I have jury duty at the end of this week. I'm not really excited about it.
5. I love my daughter but I really want to sleep.
6. I have been reading more lately which makes me happy. I'm trying to alternate fiction and non fiction.
7. The weather is supposed to be awesome this weekend. I'm hoping to get outside and run!
8. I need to go lay on the couch.
9. Hooray for all the new babies and their parents!
