Just now I almost threw up on my computer at work. It didn't happen but right after I thought about how that would have been a good excuse not to do my job for the day. I really don't want to clean up vomit but I also don't want to work...
I had my OB appt yesterday and early 1 hour GTT and it went well. Next appt is in 3 weeks for the quad screening and another OB visit.
sarcaztic10 sorry your not feeling well how many weeks are you? I've been throwing up more this week that I have in a long long time. I'm 14+1
I am 13+3 and I have been feeling worse lately even though I am taking Diclegis. With DS I had m/s the entire pregnancy. I am really hoping it is different with this one.

I haven't asked for meds yet, but I've been taking b6 since about 6 weeks. It helps but it wears off at night and that's when I get sick.
15 weeks here and still dealing with MS. I'm just waiting for the day I wake up and it's magically gone (even though my doctor told me it happens between 12-13 weeks, liar...).

Your doctor is a numb-nut.
I had it until week 17 with my first. I am 14 weeks now, and go back and forth on how I am feeling, and yesterday....out of nowhere, puked my guts out. I am pretty much assuming that the MS feeling is going to at least last until around 17 weeks, just so I wouldn't get my hopes up around 12 weeks.
Hope he feels better soon melody330, sick kids are the worst.
I took DD to her new pediatrician for her 3 yr well check this morning. DD did great and I'm so glad I switched practices/docs. This doctor is going to be the new baby's pedi too and I can't wait, she is PERFECT! As someone who has not loved her past pediatricians, I highly recommend finding one you feel comfortable with.
harlowjune1984 yeah, I was counting down the days until week 13 going off what she said! Week 12 rolled around and I started puking every day if I didn't take zofran. Oh well, I've learned to accept it and just know that at some point between now and baby arriving that it will go away
Sorry for everyone suffering from morning sickness!
I've had an extremely stressful week, DS had doctors appointments 2 hours away all day yesterday and we've been getting our old house ready to sell for the past few months, finally met with the realtor to take pictures this morning. Now I need to head to BJs and then I'm hoping to come home and take a nap. I have to work tomorrow but I'm thinking about taking off or taking a half day Friday because I really need some down time. All though my new house is a true disaster area so I'm not sure how relaxing spending 3 days here will be.
I'm sorry so many of you are still suffering with morning sickness that must be miserable. I hope everyone's feeling better soon.
We accidentally bought a house this weekend. We went to check out some open houses for research purposes, fell in love with one, made an offer and it was accepted. AHHHH. I am so excited and so overwhelmed at once. Our house won't be ready to go on the market for at least 2.5 weeks, and that's being optimistic. We're ok with owning both for a while but obviously would rather not. And if our current house isn't under contract by the time we close on our new house, we're going to move but leave 3/4 of our furniture so the house can remain staged.
This will be interesting for sure. But upgrading from our tiny 2 bedroom house to the new house will feel amazing and be worth it in the end.
That stinks that so many of you are still dealing with MS, hopefully it clears up soon!
I've been MIA lately because I've actually been working LOL! I've gotten caught up on so much this past week or so though, so now I feel like I can come back!
I had an appointment today and found out that I could take medication that I had for migraines before I was pregnant and that made me so happy! These headaches are awful, I don't remember them being so bad the first time.

Congrats on your new house! I hope your house sells fast. We had two houses for a couple months this summer and it was... stressful. But I truly believe it's worth it when you find the perfect house you can't pass up.
I'm at 17+2 weeks and still having bad nasuea. I stopped puking (I still dry heave every morning) about 2 weeks ago and haven't been taking zofran since (yay I can poop). I read my pregnancy journal from my last one and the nausea lasted till 20 weeks. Counting down the days but at least I'm not throwing everything up. Sorry to those who still are We're a very morning sickness bunch in here. Most people I know IRL either don't have it or it only lasted till 12 weeks.
sarcaztic10 I hope yours doesn't last your whole pregnancy again. I feel so bad for the ones that have it the whole way through!
katelou, congrats on the new house! I think leaving some furniture behind is a great idea, that's what we did. It's hard living without a kitchen table right now though!!

Hello!
Jumping on the ms bandwagon. I dry heave most mornings. I called the dr today about starting fluids again....but maybe not as often. I have had more nausea since stopping. Ug.
I hate it when people tell me it will go away after the first trimester. I was puking the day I got induced and during labor with ds.
It is fioricet and I know you have to have a script for it, but you could check with your doctor. They said I could use it for my back too when it bothers me.

My superhuman sense of smell has returned, and of course picks up most on scents of the gross nature, mostly secondhand smoke from my co-workers. Why can't I just smell delicious cakes and doughnuts all day??
madamewaffles I can't stand my nose right now. My sense of smell has gotten so strong lately, every time my cat uses the litter box and poops I immediately smell it! So nasty.

Hugs to all the ladies still dealing with morning sickness! Last time I was sick until 16 weeks, and I know so many people who were sick all the way through. "Morning" sickness? Ends after first tri? The lies!
melody330 I hope your DS feels better soon! Poor little guy!
Hope he feels better soon melody330 , sick kids are the worst.

This! We got assigned one through our Kaiser insurance, but could change at any time. They just kind of put you with whoever is accepting more patients. We really lucked out, because we LOVE our Pedi. Eventually, I feel like I am going to have to switch to a female doctor for DD (she is 4 now), but I will let her decide when the time comes. Until then, I am keeping him around! We like him so much, we have actually decided to pay extra every month on insurance (we qualify for cheaper rates if we go through our states exchange), just to keep him around!
beebe918, good luck selling your house too! I'm sorry you have to live without a kitchen table! If we have to leave our furniture, we'll have an extra table to use, but we'll be without a couch for a while. Anyway, I hope we're both down to only owning one house soon...

tootsie we switched pediatricians when DD was 9 months and it was the best decision. I hated our old guy and I'm happy to drive 20 minutes to see someone I really like and trust.
