Before you Read the Book Poll - WITH SPOILERS

Out of curiosity, what did you know about the Lindberghs before you started this book?  I'm thinking that how much you know about their story impacts how you read the book. 

I knew the main story lines regarding Charles and Charlie but next to nothing about Anne after that.  So I didn't feel a lot of drive to keep reading through the first part of the book as I already knew what happened.  But the later part about her raising their younger children, her writing and her affair was very interesting to me.

To be honest I'm not even sure I knew he flew the first solo transatlantic flight. I just knew he was a famous aviator. I knew a lot more about the kidnapping because I'm morbid like that.

BUT, I knew NOTHING about the Lindberghs, or even just Charles. I mean, they must have covered that in history class right?? Where was I? Like I didn't even know these were real people when I started reading The Aviators Wife.
