serendipity731 , we had a great time! We went to a super fancy steakhouse (I would've enjoyed it more if I could have had my steak cooked med and a glass of wine) which was yummy and then we went to Dave & Buster's to play games!
Thanks for asking!
Wait... is this another thing I'm going to have to give up?

The steak thing. Am I not supposed to have it cooked medium?
I mean...technically you're not supposed to eat raw or undercooked meat. I'm less strict about that after first tri. I had my filet cooked med+ last night and it was so dry and tough for a filet. It was also a $44 6oz piece of meat. I ruined it by not having it less cooked, but it's not worth the risk in my mind. I also really got it so I could have A1 and that didn't disappoint .

I very rarely eat meat but H made some fancy steak tonight and talked me into having a few bites. It was definitely cooked less than medium. Whoops.

cbrandt1 that sounds like a fun night! That's one of the things I missed most last pregnancy, medium rare meat! Ooh and I'm jealous of your ikea trip, that's my happy place lol You look so over it in your prego pic! Your LO is such a cutie pie!
I took a picture of DD in her outfits I thought were super cute, all with her seated in the chair in her nursery. Well, she had a ton of super cute outfits, and I ended up with over a hundred by the end of her first year, so I made a photo book on shutterfly. It wasn't something I had in mind when I started, but it was a great way to see how she grew!

I was very over it! He was a kicker! I hate ikea on Saturdays, but it's not bad during the week.

zengal , I did it every 4ish weeks until the last month, then I did every week. I'm not going to do it this time I don't think.
I did every month last time, but I don't think I'll do it this time either. I am starting off a little wider than I did before...don't really need to compare those pictures.

I haven't gotten back to my pp weight either...oh well! I'll worry about it when I'm done reproducing.

Sorry for your loss kerbear. His to you, YH, and his family.
Another fun day at the park. Legs, feet, and hips are sore from all the walking, but it's been fun. One more day at the parks, then headed home tomorrow night. Going to be a long week after a fun, but not relaxing weekend.
DH's aunt is coming down later to drop off 12+ boxes of boys clothes for DS!!! She's been hoarding all her boys clothes over the last 10 years to give to us. Plus she brings Starbucks!!
Then tomorrow is dinner with the parentals.
10 years?? I hope they're usable clothes ha ha
Yep! Lots of goodies in there: oshkosh, old navy, children's place. Some of them are nms but I will just donate those. There is literally enough clothes here for 12 kids.
@cbrandt I'm only about 5 lbs over what I was before DD, it just seems like everything got a little wider too .
flyakite our steak was from our local meat CSA, which makes me feel better than some random grocery store meat too. Don't know if it should, but it does!
That's me too fem! I stupidly gave all my jeans away at 3mo pp and I've had to wear my maternity jeans since about 3 months ago because the new pants I got are too big...whomp whomp
We went to the park yesterday it was sunny and 65. DS loved playing in the leaves. Today we are going to visit my dad and of course play outside again.
Good morning singingsea and anyone else who is up. I'm just sitting here eating breakfast and watching the news.
I have a question for the S16 ladies. When did your MS start? Did it just slap you in the face one day?
With DS I didn't have morning sickness. With this pregnancy week 8 was pretty bad and so far this week I've been nauseous every single morning. I think I read somewhere morning sickness peaks at 9 weeks. So uh it can only get better from here right?
