The only goal I have for the day is to take down my Christmas tree! DH goes out of town tomorrow and will be gone all week...it's going to be a VERY long week!
DH's aunt is coming down later to drop off 12+ boxes of boys clothes for DS!!! She's been hoarding all her boys clothes over the last 10 years to give to us. Plus she brings Starbucks!!

DS got his first fever last night and is rubbing at his ears. So we will probably be visiting urgent care. I'm hoping he doesn't have an ear infection. He just got off of amoxicillin last week because his previous cold two weeks ago left a lot of angry fluid in his ears I'm supposed to have a girls night tonight but kind of feel bad leaving DH with a sick little.
Birthday party at little gym tomorrow for one of DS' buddies, and first appointment on Monday! Got the daycare quote yesterday for 2....$469/week! Um, so much for "working with our budget". Now I have to start comparison shopping and have zero drive to do so.

danizee I hope your DS feels better! At my DS' last ck up I mentioned to his pedi that he'd been tugging at his ears but they looked fine when she checked them. She said it can be a teething thing, so hopefully that's the case with you guys!
DH wks today so it's just LO and I. We were supposed to meet up with my cousin but she's sick so back to the drawing board! I'll probably just end up doing chores around the house.
Enjoying a glorious morning of laying in bed. I really need to get up, though. I have a 6:30am flight tomorrow for work and before that I need to get a haircut, do a bunch of laundry and clean up the kitchen. I also have a quick HOA meeting tonight to do some strategizing after Thursday's disaster of a meeting.

So instead of steam cleaning we went out and got DS a big boy bed. It's a full but his room is a decent size so I think it will work. We let him pick out sheets at Target. He seemed pretty excited. We'll see how he feels once we start taking apart the toddler bed :/
pismoduo, I hope this meeting is much shorter than Thursdays!
I had to work this morning and at my second client's house, the client's little brother threw up on my purse. I was lucky he only hit the side, but the mom just gave me a wet sponge to clean it up with no paper towel or napkins. I can't wash it because of the material, so it looks like I will be shopping for a new purse in the next couple of days.

f14mama daycare costs are no joke, even in my low cost of living area. Daycare for one is more than I'd make if I worked. I hope you can talk them down more or find something else that works.
I'm feeling the best I've felt all week, which is good because my throat is sore and I need a break from the vomiting. I went to yoga again this morning and now I feel all chill too. Awesome. Now need to catch up on cleaning and finish this chapter of my accounting textbook.
AFM, I got out of bed long enough to eat a bowl of cereal and let the dogs out, then came back upstairs to watch TV with H and ended up falling back to sleep. Just had to cut my to-do list in half, since I've only got a few hours left in the day. No haircut for me.
serendipity731, we had a great time! We went to a super fancy steakhouse (I would've enjoyed it more if I could have had my steak cooked med and a glass of wine) which was yummy and then we went to Dave & Buster's to play games!
