What are some random things you're looking forward to about having a baby/toddler/child? If this is your 2+ what are you looking forward to about having more than 1+ or about having a baby/toddler again?
I'm looking forward to see how DS becomes a big brother. He adores babies, and I'm really hoping there isn't too much jealousy.
This is a huge DUH, but I am looking forward to finding out if it's a boy or a girl. We are Team Green and I am so excited This will probably be our last, so I am excited to complete our family.
I am also looking forward to baby snuggles, and seeing what he/she looks like! And to see my husband become a daddy, we've both wanted to be parents for so long and he is so excited for July. I can't wait to see him with our baby.

With my first I didn't cry until I saw DH holding him for the first time and then I lost it! It was the sweetest sight.
I am also looking forward to the snuggles, but also to seeing J become a sibling. I had the best time growing up with a big brother, so I really hope these two have a good relationship.
I also loved that 6-9 month old stage and the tiny baby firsts like first smiles and trying first foods.
And I TOTES can't wait for months of sleep deprivation. <sarcasm>

I am looking forward to seeing DD with the baby. She has been begging for a sibling for two years, so she is SOOOO excited. It is all she talks about, and she is always kissing and rubbing my belly (which I find weird normally, but I will totally let her do it because I love seeing how excited she is about the whole thing). When we get new baby stuff, I usually put it on the dining room table and forget about it, but she will ask if we can put it together....or if it is something that just needs to be put away, I have found her (a couple of times), bring all of the items in to the baby's room and she is carefully putting them away on the shelf...without saying anything to us.

I'm really excited about DD being a sister. She understands and is excited.
I'm also so excited about doing it without the first timer stress, at least I hope that will be the case.
I love babywearing and I hope we can get this baby all snuggled into a ring sling and take trips to the park and beach. I can't wait for that family time.

I am excited to have my rainbow baby in my arms. This will be our last child and I really want to savor the feeling of holding LO and knowing that they are our miracle.
I am also looking forward to BFing again and the closeness and bond that gives me.
Seeing DS help and be a big brother will be awesome. I am hoping he will help with the baby since he will be 6.5 when LO is due.
Holding and hugging both of my LO's at the same time is my main goal and seeing them interact together.
My son will be a few months short of 3 when this baby is born, and I'm really excited to see him as a big brother. He's a really sweet little boy, and while I know we will have rough moments, I really do think he's going to be a great helper and really into his little sibling.
And while I'm really not a fan of the newborn phase, I'm so excited to have another toddler. I feel that once DS started walking and talking, he's become so much fun. I'm looking forward to experiencing all of this with another little one.
Even though I said I'm not a fan of the newborn phase, since this will be our last baby, I'm kind of just looking forward to experiencing parenthood all over again and falling in love again. I'm going to try to savor all of the little moments despite wanting to cry of sleep deprivation!
I am looking forward to holding him/her for the first time. Seeing what he/she looks like and what features from me and my H they will have. Since it's my first, I don't really know what to expect so I guess I'm looking forward to everything? Except the lack of sleep of course. ha.
I'm looking forward to DD being a big sister. I honestly had begun to think that would never happen and she would miss out on that. I'm so grateful to be able to finally give her a sibling.
I am really looking forward to holding and loving on our new little one. I can't wait to see what traits she has and if she will have blonde hair like T or what other traits she may have that will resemble T. I am excited that she is a girl because a boy right after our loss of T may be harder for us to handle grief wise. I just love all of the things.....and am counting down the days. The sleepless nights are so worth it.

I didn't think a sibling would happen for DD and I am an only child, so I am both excited to see her become a sister but also a little apprehensive of the logistics of having 2 kids.
I loved baby snuggles, so I am excited to have a LO that wants to nap on me.
And I am also kind of excited to see if having a baby around makes DD want to cuddle more. She will come over and sit in my lap or give me hugs, but she doesn't cuddle in the way that she used to...but maybe seeing her little sister nap on me will make her also want to cuddle.
I'm looking forward to having an infant that sleeps a lot more than a toddler and stays in one place when I put him/her down.
It is so amazing to watch their brain form between 9 months and 18 months. Suddenly, they become little people...learning to walk (run), talk, and to see their eyes light up when they suddenly get a concept. The learning seems to slow a little at 18 months...DS is still making great leaps...but not like all day long like he was between 9 and 18 months.
I'm looking forward to DS and the new LO playing together (fighting...ha ha). DS likes showing the younger kids in his daycare how to do things and he also comforts them when they are upset...it will be so sweet to see him do that with his own family.

I'm looking forward to the baby snuggles, itty bitty clothes, and seeing what personality this LO has.
I'm looking forward to seeing DS be a big brother and see the two of them interact. I think maternity leave this time around will be more exciting because we will get out more with DS.
Can I also say that I'm looking forward to not being pregnant and drinking wine?
I am with you littlesthobo lol I looking forward to an ice cold beer.
I am so looking forward to holding my baby for the first time. For just snuggling, and hearing baby giggles, and bitty clothes. For seeing DH with our baby and having a child that is our own. For seeing my step sons with the baby. Teaching him/her things. Lol just everything.
This may be my only pregnancy (idk how DH feels about 4 kids lol) so I am trying to soak up every minute and enjoy it.

I'm looking forward to seeing DD be a big sister, she's been begging for a sibling for years. I'm also looking forward to doing this a second time around because I'm older, wiser and won't feel like I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I can brush off unsolicited advice with "I've got this, not my first rodeo, kthanksbye."

I'm looking forward to seeing DD interact with a new baby. Having half of summer on maternity leave. Hopefully knowing what to expect with a newborn will make the transition to 2 kids somewhat easier. And i cant wait for a beer or some wine on our deck.
