Re: names, with DS DH and I could only agree on one name, and that's the name he got. DH and I had a quick discussion about names for this LO, agreed that we both liked one name and we'd come back to it. I've totally been calling LO by that name in my head, so I'm really hoping we go with it!
My due date got bumped up according to my last ultrasound, so now I'm due July 23rd! Vacation is June 30-July 10 at the family cottage, I'm totally still going if everything is progressing normally. Maybe take the hospital bag along in case!
Good luck ginabini with this hectic time! Pre DS, I was an accountant. I think I want to go back to it eventually, but I don't know if I can deal with busy season again!
Thank you!!I really do love it... there's just a few weeks a year when my time is not my own haha. Planning a move for this week was probably poor planning on our part too... but we'll get there! I just may sleep for a week after

I am a CPA and have worked both non-industry and industry. I thought industry would be better - nope they all seem to have a busy season that lasts all year long I am convinced. I finally got a job in project controls (more finance/analysis based) and while I still keep my CPA, I don't technically practice any accounting/tax/auditing functions for my day to day. I love it! I get off at 4:30 and I have every other Friday off. Still not sure how I stumbled on this job but I will take it.

Wow, that's an awesome schedule - especially with having kids! My first job out of college was in public accounting, and it was 4 long months of nonstop work (and 8 months of just a lot of work). It was awful, and I don't know how people with families do it. Private wasn't as bad - still busy at the beginning of the year but not bad the rest of the year. If I go back to that field when my kids are in school, I definitely need to find something more flexible. I dread thinking about it so I'm just going to put it off!
