Ohhh I need this thread majorly right now! Just moved and although the new kitchen is much bigger, the storage is terrible and I cannot figure it out! Will be following closely for ideas!
Lower cupboards are pots and pans, liquor and the under the sink random cleaning crap. LO isn't moving but when he is I will baby proof the liquor and under the sink with drawer locks. Bottom two drawers are tupperware and baking pans. Won't baby proof those since he can't hurt them/ they can't hurt him. Higher up drawers are gadgets, cutlery, pot holders, dish clothes. Upper cabinets are medicines, and glasses/mugs/ dinnerware. Those won't be baby proofed as they are really high. His stuff is all in baskets in the pantry.
We just spent a week reorganizing the pantry. I'd love to tackle the gadget drawer but need to wait for DH and we have two other big organizing projects first.
I need this too! The current state of my cabinets is driving me bonkers and a reorganization has been on my list lately. Maybe I'll try to tackle it during nap time on Saturday.
Exactly this! And I really want a kitchen remodel so my motivation to make this current kitchen work is at about 0%
The one good thing about our kitchen is we have tons of storage, but honestly we haven't really moved anything around after having kids. On the bottom it is pots, pans, mixing bowls, cleaning stuff (locked), tubberware, hand towels, trash bags, and other random junk like that. Anything small and silverware, cups/ glasses, eating bowls, plates, etc. is out of reach.

We have a much bigger kitchen now than we have ever had so organizing it was easier than it ever has been. Next tot he sink we have the dishwasher on one side, cleaning supplies under the sink and one cabinet with a drawer that has dish towels and under in the garbage can. Across the way uppers: drinking glasses and all our fancy wine glasses, plates and serving dishes, spices and coffee mugs and hard liquor and beer stuffs. Lowers: kid food and tupperware, all baking stuff and bowls, pots and pans and one that holds drink servers and all my small appliances. Drawers hold silverware in one, all other cookware in another, bibs and pot holders and then one big one holds my aluminum and all the plastic baggies as well as the junk. The pantry has cat food, recycle can, all our dry items and all the plastic summer stuff.
baytosa2013 your tile looks like the same tile we have in our bathroom!
We are planning to put it in out bathrooms too! We got it at a great deal at Home Depot and got enough for the kitchen, panty, and 3 bathrooms for $550! i love it!
baytosa2013 that's awesome! I think we got ours at Lowe's, but it looks dead on (tiles are wider than they look here because of where they're cut). We've gotten lots of compliments on it!
And my kitchen is actually pretty organized. Pots and pans are in the bottom cabinets along with flour/sugar/oats. Tupperware and baby bowls and some food in the top ones. We have two book cases that have cereal and baby food and other snacks on it.

I believe I can add you if we are friends on FB. You can delete after being added. If you want PM me your fb name and I can get you on there.
I don't even think I know what my FB user name is, haha. If I can log on my computer I'll see if I can find it.

Can I get in on this action too? I think I'm comfortable in most people's good faith to not skinsuit me now;)

Me too ! Got it from Lowes
ETA: picture !
ok so I'm totally stealing your bathroom for my powder room! We definitely have the same tile and I love that floating vanity. Way better than the janky pedestal sink the house came with.
