to which, in this household, the answer is... because he is hungry and I tried to feed him dinner.

My baby is ptfo for now, but we had a minor meltdown pre-bedtime because I couldn't hold him and wash his bottles at the same time. I seriously wish I was an octopus sometimes.

Fil works crazy shifts and was already asleep when mil and I got home at 6. Since h wasn't home, we ordered hoagies. They came when I was getting LO to sleep, and I was sitting down and finally eating when h got home. He asked me to get him his hoagie because he was tired. Yeah, h, sure, I haven't eaten in hours and I've been taking care of baby and entertaining your parents, lemme get right on that.

As soon as J is done nursing and asleep I will be joining. SO pissed me off. J punched him in the chest and it really hurt... Yeah me too 100 times a day. Oh and she pulls my hair, grabs my nipples kicks me in the stomach, and she has two very sharp teeth coming in that she likes to test out on mom. Please tell me how bad that ONE punch hurt.

I had an argument with XH this evening about the fact that DS1 is not eligible for state sponsored child health insurance because I am the primary parent, make too much money, and he is already on a health insurance plan. Basically XH is pissed off that he had to pay $100 total for his share of DS1's eight therapy appointments. He doesn't want to have to pay for co-pays. He is 100% convinced that because he makes no money (read: won't get a job) that DS1 qualifies. He will not let it go. Apparently the letters I have from the state, from when we applied for our health care premium tax credits both last year and this year, saying that DS1 is not eligible for state sponsored programs are not correct. We have been having this argument for months.

Sober tonight. H is out of town and I'm here with both kids, who are currently playing nicely on the floor while I ignore them. I haven't eaten dinner yet. Mad Men final season came out on Netflix so I eventually plan on tuning in to that. After all my other plans, of course.

Oh hey! I'm here. Been rocking LO to sleep for the better part of an hour. She's asleep, I'm just avoiding the massive pile of dishes and laundry that awaits me once I exit this room.

Why is it that SOs cannot multitask with baby? Or get their own sandwich a la erbear? Seriously I'm in the kitchen preparing dinner stirring 2 pots simmering on the stove top and you're in the living room giving her a bottle and you want me to stop what Im doing and come in there to grab and bring you something that is literally in the same room as you? How do you think I get things when I'm home during the day and I'm holding her giving her a bottle?! Hahaha you have 2 feet, my dearest SO, and 2 hands too!

Anyway, sippin on gin and juice here. I need to chill the eff out.

Seriously with the multitasking WTF. Every time DH wants to do anything he tries to give me the baby. Um, you can get a glass of water and hold the baby at the same time... I'm working so cope. Andplusalso, you can set the baby down for a minute if you need to. For real.

I think they forget the have two hands, sometimes. My favorite is when I'm trying to get ready for work and he just has to have me get him something.

@jemomma, if you as XH he will tell you he has a job. He's a movie producer. Basically this mean he spend hours upon hours a week to make amateur projects that make zero money because it's fun. In other words, he spends too much time on his hobby to work a real job that actually pays bills and stuff. I wonder what he would have done if I had decided to quit my job and declared I was a professional horse rider, so that I had more time for that, back when I still rode.

The worst part is, I leave the kitchen and go in the living room and bring him the thing that is 5 feet away from him, because its so much easier than knocking down several layers of brick wall that exist between him and understanding how ridiculous that it.

I'm joining! I am enjoying a glass of red as I type. We shoveled our way out of the driveway and ventured out in the snow to grab dinner at a local Italian joint. V did great but got to bed later than usual. Pasta and wine was just what the doctor ordered!

Oh, and does anyone think Denver will win the Superbowl on Sunday? Because I live in Denver and I wouldn't bet money on them in this game. I want them to win but I'm not confident they will. I hope I'm wrong.

O has been asleep since 5:30 again, ridiculous. Last night we got to 6:15 and I thought we were making progress...

Sleep time for me. It's my first Saturday with no official plans in like two months tomorrow and I want to feel good and enjoy it!!

Jasmine was hungry at such awkward intervals today and did a weird short sneaky nap right before bed, then didn't want a bottle at bedtime. I'm definitely feeding her before I go to bed.

She has no pattern at all.
