Happy weekend! My usual is on tap: laundry, cleaning, cooking, errands. My cousin has a surprise birthday party tonight so we're putting in an appearance but leaving early. Exhaustion hit me yesterday like a ton of bricks so I'm not going to be able to hang with the party crowd tonight (plus I don't want anyone to figure out why I'm not drinking since we're not telling anyone except immediate family before 2nd tri). My nephew's birthday dinner and Superbowl watching are tomorrow night at my sister's house, and I'm making the cake, so tomorrow is busy too. I really just want to snuggle on the couch and watch tv. If only...
I'm going to dinner with friends tonight. So excited! Hoping I still feel good this evening and less zombie-like..
Random question for those who took/take diclegis - I had been taking the unisom/b6 combo and switched to diclegis with a prescription from my doctor. I actually feel worse with the diclegis and I've been having some digestive issues requiring lots of bathroom trips since I started taking it (sorry for the tmi..). Diarrhea is listed as a side effect but I never had that issue with unisom! Does anyone else get side effects with diclegis? I went back to unisom/b6 last night and I actually feel like a normal person this morning again. The diclegis is time released so maybe that's the difference in how I'm feeling?? It's not an emergency so I figured I can call my doctor on Monday but I'm not sure there is anything she can do for me.

I don't care about football, I'm just using try Super Bowl as an excuse to make taco dip. I'm hoping I won't be too sick to eat it.
Also, last night the Mexican place screwed up our order so we got an entire extra order of enchiladas, beans, and rice for free. Food wise, this is going to be a great weekend.

Im home thus weekend per doctors orders I was having some pain yesterday in my pelvic area and uber light spotting (it was so light I would have missed it had I not been looking) so I have to call and get an u/s on Monday to be sure everything is alright. I'm not worried to much, more so about the pain and if I should be working or not. So free weekend woohoo!

Have a lovely day, girls!
I was super sneaky with my first pregnancy we had to make an appearance at a party as well and I knew not drinking would raise suspicion. Dh and I both grabbed a beer, he drank his, I held mine and we just casually switched back and fourth (by putting them down), nobody was ever the wiser.
We went to a hockey game weekend before last- lots of fun! We had blueberry pancakes this morning, and now just ready for the rest of this hanging out weekend, wooo!
singingsea wishing you good luck with the birthday party! I've had a nasty cold since Sunday so I know how you feel, I can't imagine having to do a birthday party.

Hey ladies I am around...I am trying to stay busy and get my house in order for Monday. My nausea started up again. So confusing.
On a happier note I went to Once Upon a Child and got two toys I really wanted for my DD for only 15 dollars. They were 30-40 a piece brand new. They work perfectly. It made me happy..lol the little things.
singingsea that was me this last week. Hope you feel better.
Maybe this is a FFFC but I love Chuck e cheese and end up playing all the games.
We just took DD to the tractor museum then got Mexican food. Now home for nap and cleaning, and tonight H and I are going out for an early Valentine's dinner. Hoping the nausea stays mild so I can enjoy it (I tend to feel worse in the evenings).

I'm glad you're not worried. I would assume what you're explaining is just your uterus stretching out and making more room for baby. That's nice they're giving you an u/s just to check.

Spent a long time outside with my dog this morning so he could play in the snow. He's passed out on the couch next to me now while I do some work. Work sucks but at least I'm on the couch in sweatpants with the TV on.
MH and I have some errands to run and I might try to stop at Target for a belly band. It's getting uncomfortable to button my jeans from lunch time on each day.
And I got an email. The bridesmaid dress I bought for my cousin's wedding is in already. They told me there was a 4 month lead time, but it actually came in 2 weeks. Seriously?? I would have waited longer to order if I had known it would come in that quickly!

Yeah my main concern at this point is just figuring out if its ok to continue working at my job or not. Its the busy season for us with prom coming so I just want to make sure all the walking and lifting it involves isn't going to cause problems for the pregnancy. We have very small staff so being realible is important and to do that I need to know whats going on and what my limitations need to be.

LadyNymeria wow that was pretty quick. A little something I've learned working in retail, a lot of times in retail the wait time they tell you is just fluff to cover their butt if it takes to long. Most of the time bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses are made to order which is why they take forever to come in and that way if they have a backorder or something else they gave themselves time to fix that issue without stressing the customer. I imagine if it came that quickly that they already had a small stash at their warehouse. Retail is really just creative lies.
I'm at MommyconATL with some friends from my jan15 bmb! Right now though I'm sitting in the car by myself while LO naps in his car seat. It's cool. I like the peace

How is it? I really wanted to go to the LA one last year but never went
Happy Saturday! Not much going on this weekend. We went sliding. I didn't do any because I spotted last time I did I it. Then we went out for lunch at a Chinese buffet and then Costco. DS had a quick nap in the car, so it's going to be a early bed time (hopefully).
