No date night for us, we forgot to book a reservation and when we called at around 2 they were booked. Oh well, staying in and pizza sounds pretty nice too.
I survived chuck e cheese. Felt like crap leading up to it but at the party I got a second wind and powered through it. DS and his friends really enjoyed themselves but those animatronic animals will haunt me for days

Morning - woke up with some major morning sickness. Hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday though!
We are telling MH's siblings and their spouses today since they will all be in town. I know they will be excited for us, but I'm still a little anxious.
I just weighed myself and I've only gained 1 pound, but my face is seriously rounder already. H said he noticed it too. Dang it, this is how people found me out last time. Maybe it's all the carbs I'm craving?
I don't know how I'm hiding this until 12-13 weeks. On Friday I had to change my shirt three times because DH told me it was too noticeable. I don't own a ton of loose shirts and I only hit 9 weeks Thursday. I look like I did at about 14 weeks with DS!

I am bloating so bad I want to break out my old maternity pants just for comfort.
I already have a hard spot on my abdomen right above my pubic bone. With DS I didn't notice this till 12 weeks but with #2 I'm noticing everything earlier.

I broke out the maternity jeans this weekend! I can't stand tight jeans on my waist and the belly band seems to work better with my work pants than with jeans.
I also noticed the hard spot, of course I was poking my stomach because I couldn't believe how chubby I had gotten, but then didn't feel as bad when I noticed that haha! I read that the uterus doesn't go back to its original size after having a baby so you start off bigger by default the subsequent times.

Yeah I don't think my ute ever returned to its regular size. DS stretched me out so much. I have a pic somewhere of me at 32 weeks. I was huuuuge.
This all concerns me a little bit. I'm 6+3 and hoping to hide it at work for five or six more weeks, but I've already gained a couple pounds because I eat non-stop. Guess I'll be wearing bulky sweaters and layers every day.

I wear my puffy vest at work a lot to hide the bloat.

Hi ladies!
theophania that's awesome you were able to pick up the heartbeat!
I've only gained about a pound so far, but I started off overweight so I'm hoping to maintain and keep it to a minimum. I've cut out a lot of sugar so I think that's helped.
We're at my in-laws this weekend. We put DS in a shirt that says "this boy is getting promoted to big brother" to tell everyone but nobody read the shirt, we had to tell them to read it lol
Hope everyone has fun at various super bowl activities! We'll be driving hm when it starts to avoid traffic. Luckily DH isn't a football fan.
I'm with the ladies who have gained too much weight already, hence why I don't check in on the health check in. This week I'm going to try really hard to snack on fruits and veggies instead of junk.
However today I made homemade potato skins for the game which I fully intend to enjoy

I was just lurking The Dump and someone had a MC the exact same day I did in December, and is now due the same day I am. I know it's not *that* weird but it was really strange seeing those dates in somebody else's siggy.

I just ate my weight in chips and queso. I haven't been able to keep anything down today, so I'm not sure if that was a wise decision. But, at least I'm eating something, right?

I've given up buttoning my jeans. Doing the hair tie trick until I can get to Target to buy a belly band.
