Good Morning! This group is so quiet on the weekends, I hope everyone is busy doing fun things!
Because I'm nosy and everyone always talks about their jobs or weekday activities, I want to know what it is everyone does! Feel free to share your spouses jobs or activities as well.

I can start!
I'm the Director of Sales for a laundry company. We work with contractors but my days are spent on the phone talking to clients, dealing with customers and working with our contractors (who are mostly WAHMs). This is nothing like I thought I would be doing for a career (my undergrad degree is in recreation) but it allows me to stay home with H and my nieces. We have a sitter here 5 days a week (starting this week...yay) to help with the girls and allow me to work slightly less interrupted during the day. It also gives me the freedom to take the girls places and enjoy being home with them.
C, my love, works for an environmental center for the Girl Scouts. He gets to spend his days hanging out with kids, making maple syrup, doing crafts, creating programming and being outside. (Sounds awful, right?)

I manage a Caribou Coffee location, in Iowa. It's not at all what I thought I'd be doing, but it pays pretty cushy and I love my staff, boss, and the company. The days can be long, and it can be stressful, a retail environment with college kids who know this isn't their career job. But for the most part it's an easy gig, and I really love it.
Julie works for the county in which we live in their IT Dept. Her job is pretty stressful fixing all of the county's computes, prepping computers for elections etc, but she loves it, the pay is awesome, and the benefits are amazing.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

Ummmmm Caribou Coffee is literally my favorite coffee place. I actually cried when they closed down around here. Last year I went to MN for my brothers wedding and we were so excited that there was a Caribou minutes from the hotel...we had coffee every chance we got. I miss it so much :-(

I'm a physical therapist. I don't treat full time anymore and spend most of my day at a computer doing chart reviews. I also recently got my coding certification and do that on the side. I will be thrilled if/when my company lets us work from home.
M is also a physical therapist. She works in peds part time now.

I'm a construction estimator. I review architectural plans, contact subcontractors, read spec books, day dream that I was outside building instead of sitting inside looking at paper buildings.
Kass is in the Air Force. She is in tech school to be a medic. Long term goal for her is to be a Clinical Psychologist.
Another social worker here. I work as a clinician in a community mental health crisis clinic, I have some ongoing clients, but mostly work doing mental health assessments and setting people up with treatment. It's certainly never dull... K is an attorney working mostly in real estate with banks and such.
I'm currently on Maternity Leave until April 4th, so my current "what do you do all day" is not my norm!
I am an Operations & Compliance Director for a pharma company. I am a bit of a jack of all trades. I oversee contracting, IT, procurement, corporate compliance, safety, facilities... and other miscellaneous things as needed. My undergrad degree is in English, and I am a trained Paralegal. My plan was always Law School, but I ended up getting a Master's Degree in Communications Management along the way, and once I started working for my current employer I changed my mind about Law School (I applied and was accepted, but decided not to go). I started out with my current employer as a contracts paralegal and my role has grown in leaps and bounds since then. I am approaching my 7 year anniversary with the company. When I started we were a small start up company, and we are now a wholly-owned subsidiary of a big pharma company. I feel a pretty strong connection to my company and the work that we do. I have contemplated looking elsewhere a few times in recent years (when I have gotten restless), but in the end I just couldn't make a move. I really do enjoy the work that I do and the people that I work with. I also have a ton of flexibility and very little direct oversight.
J is a SAHM, so I am playing in her sandbox right now while I am home on Maternity Leave. It is a little weird for me, but also nice. I know I will be ready to go back to work in April though. Before becoming a SAHM, J was a licensed social worker at a hospital. She actually mainly worked grant funded programs through the local school district, but her employer was the hospital. She has talked a little bit about getting her teaching certification once all of our kids are in school full-time, but that is a long way away, so we shall see... she has said she does not currently have any interest in going back to social work.
I'm a realtor so life can be a bit crazy some weeks and quiet others. Like today I don't have any appointments and I'm enjoying the heck out of basically doing nothing. But the rest of the week I'll be busy with showings and meetings. Even though I work under a principle broker I am self employed and work 100% on commission. It's an interesting life.
J is a restaurant manager for a big national chain. Steady pay and benefits for both of us, yay!
Me: 31 Wife: 30. Legally married 2008, thanks CA! TTC #1 since 11/14 using donor sperm. IUIs Jan-Aug 2015 BFN Sept & OCT 2015 added Femara. BFN Saw RE December 2015. I work in procurement, forecasting and planning for a company that manufactures both commercial and residential security systems, energy conservation modules and fire safety products. I have been with this company over ten years now and while it isn't what I thought I would be doing as a career (I always thought I would become a chef), I make great money, enjoy the people I work with and coming to work so I can't at all complain.

I work in a Children's Hospital, predominantly in the general pediatric clinic/complex care clinic. It is a huge clinic (we see about 180 kids/day) and most are from low income families and a huge percentage have complex medical needs (anything from asthma/ADHD to kids who are dependent on trachs and ventilators.) I serve as a hybrid social worker/case manager. I make sure families are doing what they are supposed to (bringing them to appointments, following up), making sure they have all of the services they are entitled to, and arranging nursing services/therapy/equipment. I also do a lot of coordination with CPS and insurance case managers, and provide community resources (housing, food, childcare, etc.) I also do a lot of coverage in the ER. No two days are alike - which I love. I've been there 12y next week.
L is a government consultant in the area of organizational development, talent/human capital management, and succession planning. She fell into doing this in the government space by accident and would love to move into the private sector.
I am a special education teacher. Right now I work with teenagers with significant physical and cognitive disaiblities. I have also worked with teens with significant emotional/social/behavioral concerns. Right now, I am working on become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst through online classes.
Sweetie is getting her PhD in Biochemistry. 3 years done, 3 years to go!
sdfonz619 , I seriously thought you were a teacher. Something about your HDBD photos on our S15 board.
That's funny! Although, I can see that because the bathroom at my office (which was where most of my HDBD photos were taken looks like it could belong in a school.

C and I own a contracting company specializing in finish trades - painting, flooring, post construction cleaning, and the like. Much of our business is contracting with the department of defense as a women-owned, veteran owned business, and we do a fair bit of property maintenance contracting as well. Prior to this, we both worked as market managers for a large paint company so we had a pretty good network of contacts in place to launch our own business.
I've been waitressing on the side for about a year now. I started so that we could cover the costs of IVF.
I (CAR) am a recruiter for an IT Consulting Company. It isn't what I thought I would be doing, but I enjoy it when it's busy. At times, it's very fast paced which I love. I have a master's degree in landscape architecture but ultimately decided not to take a job in the field because I appreciated the flexibility and colleagues of my current position, especially now that M is here. I also didn't want to spend all day drafting and my commute would have been long with lots of traffic.. Additionally, I'm a certified personal trainer and I'm looking to get more into training private clients on the side. Once M is older, I would love to have kid programs or get involved with Girls on the Run or something similar.
CET is an aviation litigation attorney for a corporation, so she manages and tries large product/accident cases throughout the US, and some internationally. She wanted to go to law school since high school, but kind of fell into this particular job. It lets her have a level of management over big cases that would be hard to come by as a (fairly) young female attorney in a firm setting, and goes well with her interest in the aviation industry and travel. There's also a good solid income/benefits/etc, but the drawback is the schedule, which has some long hours, and especially now that M is here, being gone at times for month-long trials can be hard. The other downside is that the company only has one location, so we're limited in where we can live unless she makes a big change.
CET & CAR - both 30, married Aug, 2013, together 12+ yrs.
TTC #1: CAR carrying IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid, trigger = BFN IUI #3 - Switched to Gonal 150iu. Overstim led to 'surprise' IVF. Retrieved 21, 14 mature, 13 fertilized, all 13 made it to day 5, 9 PGS normal. Transferred 1 AA hatched blast 5/1/15 Baby Girl M born 1-21-16

And another Social Worker here; I implement economic development programs for women, youth and other marginalized groups to help build their economic independence.
I'm an Interpreter. I got my BS in Interpreting and have been doing it for about 14 years now. I was looking at a career change and got accepted into a few Nurse Practioners programs but I decided to put that on hold till after we had kids. Now I'm not sure I want to make any change.
