I leave before N gets up for the day every day, so no goodbyes here. Hope you can leave early jt2378! I was going to go to work early today but then I remembered I could remote log in. Working from home in my pjs sounds way better then showing up early to a cold office.
@adulruna, @giamia923, Hope the little babies are feeling better soon!
I've got some busy work to get through this morning. It's not too complicated but apparently adds a lot of value, so, yay.
We had a surprise showering on our place yesterday. I got the call while I was at the gym, and still had to pick L up from my sister's. So , DH (hungover as a MFer) prepped the place mostly by himself. He did a great job.
The most expensive part of this process so far has been going out to lunch while the showings are taking place!
Please cross all fingers and toes for us. This place needs to sell!

I'll join in on the sick kids today as well. V woke up this am with snot encrusted all over her face to include her eyelashes. She fought like a tiger when I tried to get it all off. Poor thing. No fever so far. We will see how long we can make it without daycare calling me to come pick her up. I have to interview two people tomorrow so really hoping that the fever doesn't hit.
Eta: she also has the hacking cough. She had rsv at 3 months and every time she gets sick she has the same awful cough.
He fell asleep around 5 AM and then woke up around 9. He hasn't had another coughing fit like last night but he sounds so awful. He's acting playful as usual and is eating so i'm not sure i should even take him in. Our humidifier broke so we boiled a pot of water and put a tbsp of Vick's vaporub in it and that calmed him down tremendously. We need to get a humidifier today.
Glad he seems better this morning. I still think a call to the pedi is a good idea just to be safe

@lildiamondeyes, Sucks, I'm sorry, if it makes you feel better my fat pants are pretty much fitting and I'm feeling so bloated and gross. I didn't just have a baby like you though so what's my excuse? AF makes it ten times worse, don't be so hard on yourself

@lildiamondeyes, sorry you're having a rough time with your body. IMHO, 12 pounds of weight loss is something to be proud of! And you did that in just a few weeks. It took you over 9 months to gain weight!
It's fair to be discouraged and disappointed when you're not where you want to be. but don't discount all the work you've put in!
@adulruna, damn that sucks, we were just talking about croup too like last week! Glad its no steroids needed at least. The humidifier will definitely help. Hope he can sleep tonite
@giamia923, yeah i'm already over the snow from today and last Friday's storm. We probably got about 5 inches today
My skin is horrendous right now, I look like I'm 15 again with teenage acne. Gah I don't know whats up with me lately but I look horrible, man its depressing. My clothes are tight AF, skin is bad, um am I hitting puberty again at this age? lol
oh wow jt2378 yeah that sucks. so far it's not accumulating but it's still snowing. hopefully we don't have to shovel in the am.ugh I'm ready for spring already! I thought we were going to get lucky this year. well I guess G will get some use out of her boots atleast!
Yeah our yard looked gorgeous on Saturday and got some really nice pics with H in the snow but now it can all go away
jt2378 thanks for tagging me a few days ago. I'm still here and lurk around a bit, but haven't had the time to keep up with everyone and reply so I backed off.
Anyway, I'm currently babysitting a 3.5-month-old full-time. We also recently found out DH got a job in another state that he applied for, so we're moving next month.
Yes I agree, this Monday needs a do over with all the sick kiddos!
@kait20122014, sorry about your car, I hope it doesn't cost too much, car repairs are the worst
melw629, welcome back! nice to hear from you, how exciting about your H's job, are you staying in the same part of the country even if it is another state? I hope C is doing well and wow about babysitting a 3.5 month old, it must feel like having 2u2

N40Mom we flew to Europe when Vera was 11 months old. It was tough and she wasn't walking yet. V did sleep a decent amount on the plane (one of the flights was 13 hours and she slept about 2/3 of it). I think I might minimize the time at a layover unless you can find a play area or somewhere for baby to have some quiet time.

We're currently in the Midwest and we're moving south. Farther from immediate family, and not really near any friends, though we both have a couple aunts/uncles/cousins in the area.
