Hi ladies, I've been lurking a little and figured it's time to intro! I'm 20wks and Team Pink. I'm due 6/28 but haven't yet decided if I'll attempt a VBAC or repeat C. My DD is 9mos today so I'm gonna be a very busy mama come June! I'm not too active in my other BMB so I hope to participate more here. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies
Welcome! I also am having the vbac vs c section debate and have a 13 month old. Has everyone started telling you "you're going to have your hands full!"? It's making me nuts, lol.
Welcome!! I'm still having the VBAC or repeat c-section debate myself. Lemme know if you ever want to commiserate about this decision together!
Haha thanks! The main reason I'm thinking repeat is because we moved and have no friends and family in the area. I have no idea what we would DD when I go into labor. But I hate the idea of having to do another c-section because it's more convenient

Haha, yes!! As if I didn't already know my life will get even crazier ? I think that's why I waited to long to announce the pregnancy this time around. Did you plan on having your LOs close together?

Ya, this was the plan, although I got pregnant quickly so I thought there might be a little more gap in age. I'm 32 and we are still considering having 3 kids total so we decided we should probably have them fairly close together so I'm not pregnant and 45 or something. Not that there is something wrong with being an older mama, it just wasn't my preference. MH's parents are older and I see how much harder it is for them to keep up with the grandkids than it is for mine.

Gotcha, we're in a similar boat. This was unplanned, but I did want them around 2yrs apart. It took so long to get pregnant the first time, I didn't think I would get knocked up so quickly (and with protection & bf!) this time around.

A repeat C is so much more convenient for SURE but I'm nervous of that first week of recovery. I know Vbac is healthier for all involved, but finding and planning childcare is a pain and uterine rupture is a terrifying thought.
I'm surprised with your LO's being so close together that they'd consider a VBAC. They told me that they like a longer span between deliveries for vbacs.
Mostly, I wish my ob would just make the decision for me so I wouldn't have to stress about it!

Haha, I know what you mean! Why does my OB have to have an open mind and give me agency!? Lol. She said they would be more concern if it less than 12 months before deliveries, but she did send me to do my anatomy scan at the "high risk" dept to check for other complications that can occur with a VBAC.
