Ummm...we don't always even manage pants around here, though often socks to keep his feet warm. He's home with our nanny most of the time. I do like to coordinate him and his sister in nicer clothes when we go to church or are out and about.
Leggings, onesie and socks are our usual go-to, no matter where we go. I do have the full outfits to break out every now and then, but I figure I dress for comfort and she does, too.

I said SAH casual outfit, but I do put socks on her because it's like -1*F right now. If we go out, obviously I put a hat on her for the same reason. But we're not putting like headbands or unnecessary clothes on her. If it were summer it'd just be onsies.

I have a weakness for baby jeans. So he's usually in jeans, a onesie and socks (either coordinating or white socks). I have so many cute outfits (collard shirts, baby polos), but I prefer he be comfortable. Those outfits seem less comfy with his bib on or for naps. I like to dress him like a little man and I hate those carters 3 piece sets. They are cute, but they are very clearly "baby clothes." I use the 3 piece sets on days we are staying home and no one will see us. I also have 3 or 4 sweater Rompers that are super cute and warm! And, I just got him some super cute board shorts (bathing suits for those who don't use the term). My two brothers are surfers, so he's got so much Rip Curl and Billabong from them from them for the spring and summer. I guess the whole family loves to dress him like a little man! Lol
I just read this and realize how ridiculous it sounds. Also, I should probably take some of my fashion advice and apply it to myself. I'm a hot mess, but at least the little guy looks cute!
I said simple and goes to daycare, but we do put jeans on her maybe once or twice a week for daycare. She also always has booties or socks on, but that is for warmth, not for style. I have a bunch of headbands for her, and I think that she has worn one once.
Some of the babies at daycare are sometimes dressed up cutely, but most are dressed for warmth and comfort - note this is in the baby room, so everyone is under 1. Also note that almost all of the parents are engineers, so none of us are known for being stylish.
I was doing sleepers for the most part at DC until he started sitting up more regularly. Now, I put him in pants and a onesie or a cute outfit for DC with socks (no other accessories). I only have 6 or 7 sleepers in the 6-9 month sizes and lots of regular clothes, so that played a part in the decision.

I chose simple outfit, but ROM is usually in just a onesie and/or diaper only when we are home - so much easier to check his diaper that way. When we go out he gets more of a full outfit.
I save his nice stuff for weekends or days off. I can't trust that it will come back in good shape at DC. Stuff happens. Plus it's easier for them to deal with quick diaper changes.

I'm confused about the difference between the casual outfit and simple outfit. I guess a combination of those, since sometimes (like today) she goes to daycare in her jammies?

I had like some kind of outfit pieces in mind for the casual outfit (jeans & a onesie, onesie and matching skirt, etc), something a little dressier than just a onesie and leggings or just a sleeper.
Ah, I see what you're saying. In my mind, anything requiring my baby to wear pants is a step beyond "simple" #jammiesforlife
She's almost always in soft pants and a onesie, sometimes with a hoodie or vest. Socks or booties when we leave the house but they get kicked off so often I don't usually mess with them at home. I do one-piece outfits/sleepers sometimes. Sundays she usually wears a cute outfit to church and sometimes on Thursdays when we go to Bible study. My mom takes her 3 days a week but I have her with me the other 4.
LO wears his footed PJs all day unless we go out. That's when I dress him like a little man usually with jeans and a plaid shirt and suspenders (or something like that).
