Hemorrhoids... Wanna hear about how I get to have them surgically removed? OB wants them removed before I try for a VBAC and "irreversible damage" is done. I asked what that meant, and she said I don't want to know.
My nose bleeds in my sleep and it must go down the back of my throat. I wake up most mornings with bloody phlegm that takes a solid thirty minutes of hacking and horking to get rid of.
You're welcome.
Yup, add me to the bloody nose club. All night. Every night.

Wondering if I need to talk to dr...didn't know they could be irreversible. Uh...having urge to google, but that's probably a really bad idea.

I googled for about 5 seconds and then backed quickly away from the internet. Potential complications that increase with 4th degree hemorrhoids (which are what I have) include hemorrhage from bursting, anal incontinence, and anal prolapse. I'm not sure if she would recommend a first-time CS over a vaginal delivery just because of them but the overall risks of VBAC versus RCS with the hemorrhoids may weigh in favor of RCS.

. I found my unmedicated birth was much better for my rear end because I knew where to focus my pushing. With my first I had an epidural and had no idea what I was doing, I sat on a rubber ring for a good two weeks.
Bumping this thread again because I had my first boob-leakage experience yesterday. I was getting ready for my shower and must have accidentally put pressure on just the right spot because I noticed leakage all of the sudden! It really startled me. I just wasn't expecting anything like that until after the babies were here. It hasn't happened again throughout the day thankfully, so it must have been the pressure on my breast that did it. Still freaky!
