Hi everyone! I'm a FTM to a 11 week old boy. Just when I think I'm starting to get into a rhythm with my little guy, maternity leave ends and I have to figure out how to juggle work too. I'm hoping you all won't mind sharing your experiences with me as I fumble through the rough patches!
My first challenge will be physically stepping away from my child when I drop him off at daycare. The second will be making myself presentable on the way into the office after said drop off. Then there's the joys of "pumping at work" to adjust to. Clearly I'm going to be a hot mess next week (hopefully not much longer than that).

You will get through it, well... Because you have to. It will be tough at first, but just know that you're doing this to make his life better in the future. Best of luck to you with the transition. You got this.
Welcome and good luck with the transition. It will become routine before you know it. When I first went back to work, it felt like all I did was set up for pumping, pump, then clean up from pumping. Now I'm pretty efficient at it, but yeah, that first week I was a hot mess. Hugs!
Good luck & welcome. Yes, stepping away from the baby is the first step so you have already done that! Just takes time but never gets easy. FTM here too
