I bought a box of diapers when Target had their sale. Otherwise nothing yet. Since we are Team Green we don't have plans on buying a lot until after baby arrives. DH did tell me that I could go buy a coming home outfit and either get a gender neutral one I liked or one of each. Once it gets closer I'll go do that.
If money was no object I'd get a bigger house with more bedrooms and a playroom. I'd also consider getting a new vehicle (SUV) because right now I just have a small car.
Oh! Cribs! We also have those. I LURVE them so much. We won't set them up until we paint the nursery, but I'm so excited about them! I also spent a total of $75 of our money on them (2 cribs, 2 toddler rails, and 2 foam mattresses) thanks to sales and lots of gift cards from Christmas/credit card rewards.
What's the brand/style of this crib? I like it, but would want white.
I just bought a 8 cube organizer for the bottom of the closest. I have one for DDs room and like it for extra things like books and stuffed animals. I use fabric bins to store sheets and shoes. I also just ordered a mesh water ring sling for taking DD to the pool this summer. I have also bought new bottles and her own set of swaddle blankets since DD uses hers still. I picked up a blessing outfit and going home outfit as well.
I sill would like to get a new diaper bag, a double stroller and a monitor. Other than that we are pretty set since this one is another girl. We have lots of clothes and the bedroom is already decorated because I moved DD to the bigger room when we transitioned to a bed.
Oh and of money wasn't a concern I would get one of those BFF diaper bags and a milk snob nursing cover. They aren't really something we have to have but I would like to have them so that's why I put it under if money wasn't a concern. Also a new rocker! Ours is so squeaky!

I equally enjoy this thread and am terrified by it. We've all been sick on and off for a month so we haven't been getting much done. We have a 14 month old boy so we are set on a lot but here's what I need to buy/do. - buy twin mattress for current LO - combine 2 fully furnished rooms into one room so we have a nursery. - repair walls (old house issues) and paint the nursery. Including the ceiling, all trim, and the closet. - sell my car and replace it (after doing some maintenance) - buy: rug, rocking recliner, dresser, bookshelf or cubby shelf for nursery. Plus a few newborn things that aren't Christmas/winter themed or fleece. I also want a double stroller and a bigger diaper bag.

I got a milk snob when they were on a big sale once and can't wait to use it! I also sold my previous nursing cover and car seat cover (barely used) to justify spending the money!
txmommy14 I've been checking every once in a while to see if one goes on sale but haven't had any luck. Hopefully they will have one before she comes I was going to get another free one just pay shipping on udder covers but it was going to be $18 and I thought well I might as well spend a little more for one I really want so I waited.

I had to follow their Instagram account and finally a pattern went on a big sale and I bought it immediately before they sold out! I'm so excited about it though-I never used my nursing cover or car seat cover with DS because they were inconvenient.

I've gotten way more clothes than i intended...but I couldn't help it! We've also got a light fixture for the nursery, a lamp and crib sheets, and a wall decal is ordered (and taking forever to get here).
We got a killer deal on a sit'n'stand stroller, so we got that too. I didn't want a double stroller but this is a good in-between I think and is lighter than our graco travel system one and will still fit the bucket seat.
A new diaper bag - but I'm using it already because I love it! (Jujube BFF)
Oh, I also got a new nursing pillow!
I still need a new breast pump - just need to wait to get a "note" From my OB for insurance. We need either a new monitor or see if we can get another camera for the one we have. We also need to get paint and actually paint. And a new change pad and covers.
....otherwise I think we're okay? I'm keeping my eye out for sales. Not sure if we'll need bottles right away, so might wait for sales and pick some new ones up of a few different ones, same with pacifiers.
There's probably more and I do have a list.....somewhere....

We have not done much, but since DD is only 11 months we are still using some of the stuff...
We are all set on clothes for 0-3 months. My mom went nuts so he has plenty of summer wear.
Hopefully I will ba able to jack enough newborn size diapers from the hospital that I won't have to buy any. We have about 30 of that size leftover.
Bucket car seat and toys were cleaned before I put them in the basement. Just need to wipe them down again when I get them out.
Mom bought us a crib, but we are not setting up a nursery for him. I'm hoping (praying?) that we will be in a new house either right before or soon after he is born. So his room will be addressed when those plans are finalized. He's going to be in our room in the pack and play for a couple weeks so I'm feeling no rush.
Our splurge would be a house. If that doesn't happen, this girl is getting a Tula.
I haven't bought anything. This is boy #2 so I really don't need anything, but I keep getting this feeling like I'm forgetting something. At this point with ds the entire nursery was setup.

Well, I just President's Day-saled my first boy clothes (and jammies!) at Gap and Hanna Andersson. Couldn't help it.
Otherwise, we bought a new video monitor that comes with two cameras, only because our first one wasn't holding up so well to multiple drops to the floor.
I feel like I shouldn't need many things, and yet... when I make a list, it feels long. And expensive.
Between hand-me-downs and having everything from DD, we're mostly set. We really hated our stroller last time so we sold it years ago. A friend was getting rid of hers and it was in great shape so we have that now - with a buggy board for DD.
We need to organise the bedrooms at some point. We have a 3 bed house but as we live overseas we need a guest room so we're going to put both kids in the bigger room. DD is currently in the smaller room so we need to move her and re-do the furniture in both rooms to make it work. DH wants to wait a while before doing any of this. I have no idea why, but since I'm not going to be moving any furniture I can't do it alone.
I have been having fun looking at baby boy clothes online. A lot of the early stuff we have from DD will work and a friend is giving us a ton more, but it's still fun to buy some cute stuff. I have a few 'big sister / little brother' t-shirts bookmarked as well :-)
I've purchased a few items as I saw them on sale, and have been gifted items from friends and family:
2 Strollers: Bob Revolution jogging stroller and Britax B-Agile Travel System (that comes with infant carseat). I know I will likely not need 2 strollers but got both of these at a deep discount. One will likely stay with my mom who will provide frequent care. Ergo carrier 2 baby toys 4 swaddles Babytrend diaper pail Chandelier for nursery Lansinoh breastmilk storage and feeding starter set Madela PIS breastpump (provided by insurance) Baby chair for nursery (purchased by my mom) 2 pair of baby shoes (purchased by friends)
Also, a friend let me borrow her Mamaroo bc her son is a year old and has outgrown it.

I've recently been getting this same type of feeling like I'm forgetting something too! I'm a minimalist, so we won't use much stuff, but I know I must be forgetting about things. What do babies need again??

bgkc4, if you haven't already check to make sure that Britax travel system wasn't part of the recent recall. I had that high on my list because it was affordable and had good reviews, but I've noticed that it's not being sold by either BRU or Amazon right now. Info is here: us.britax.com/service-support/safety-notices/

Thanks. I actually did check that. To my disappointment, The recall was announced about 2 weeks after I bought it. Luckily, my stroller wasn't included in the recall. It was manufactured in September 2015; the recall affected models from Oct. 2014 to July 2015.

That's great! I also read they're releasing a new model this month, so maybe that's why Amazon and BRU are currently out of stock.
Yes frecklesnbrains , I think the fact that they are releasing a new 2016 model is how I managed to get mine on Clearance for $120. They had to clear out the old ones to make room for the new.

I also feel like I'm forgetting something on my list and can hardly remember what I need for newborns-I was so in touch and aware with DS since I had everything on a registry and needed everything for the first time. Hmmm. I have to remind myself that I have Amazon prime and can get pretty much anything shipped for free in 2 days, so no need to hyper-plan. Also, I wanted to get out of the house and go to Target last time!
