Thanks for the check in, @clgsquared!! GL Thursday!
agpjt413, VA TTC#1, cycle 3 AL CD12 Still haven't picked up the BBT since burning the bench. Did an OPK yesterday and it was neg. Will try again tomorrow. Sticking to OPKs & checking CM.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? So many things but I think I wanted to be a professional volunteer/philanthropist most - not realizing, as a kid, that our family wasn't financially capable of supporting my "career" choice LOL!!
Wanna mama TTC #1, about 7 cycles now CD 17 Not sure if I've O'ed or not. Finally on meds for strep and this morning my temp was back to usual pre-O temps, so thinking my higher temp yesterday was still fever. Luckily I will be not contagious later today ...hoping that I can get one more BD in.
QOTW: I wanted to be a lot of things, but the first two I remember are first that I wanted to own a McDonald's (when I was about 5) and then I wanted to be the first woman president. I didn't want to be president unless I was first woman...I could still go for it
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
vh2014, Virginia #1 for him #3 for me CD 131 (yep... it's not a typo) Still on prenatals, Vitamin D, CoQ10, DHEA, and a tiny dose of synthroid. tossed the thermometer (ok... maybe i did pick it up the last 2 days out of curiousity) and the OPKs.
Had "the talk" again last night and we finally have a plan. Since I started the DHEA CM has increased, acne has gone away, and might have even had O pain in the other side (not the cyst side, the one they couldn't find) last night/ this morning... or it could be gas. LOL. Anyway, after reading all the studies, quite a bit of prayer, and some discussion we have a plan. (Or rather I suggested a plan and he approved it). We are going with the DHEA regimine through the 15th of April (yeah, because this process is taxing ) If I haven't started a new cycle or gotten a BFP before then we are moving forward with my sister's eggs, first IVF cycle shortly after and the possibility of a BFP for my birthday or our anniversary. So, long wait... but for some reason I just feel like this is the right path. I am so at peace with the idea of the supplements until then.
QOTW: I wanted to be everything from the first female president to a doctor to a lawyer... cyber security wasn't even in the running. DD had high aspirations though... she wanted to work at Burger King because "they have the best happy meal toys". She's 23 now... hasn't lived up to those career aspirations yet.
Good morning ladies!! Octavia here TTC #2 and on cycle 3 Currently in the TWW (6DPO) - see my post in the other thread if interested
Divefrog - Oooooo test!! We need a BFP up in this joint!
vh2014 - Glad you are feeling good about your plan.
wannabmama - Hope the meds kick in and you can get one more in
@clgsquared - So frustrating....but good luck with the HSG.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? I also wanted to be a ballerina! I used to "dance" to Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Hey ladies!
Flyliceandcoffee, CO
We're working on #2 since June, 1 loss and 1 cp since then
CD13 today, temps are on the upswing so we'll see when FF decides to say ovulation was and then we'll see how good our timing was. If I can muster up the energy I might try for one more tonight just in case.
I wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer when I was little. Then I realized I hate blood, and although I can argue till the cows come home, I am no good at words. So, I ended up as a computer nerd who is allowed to have bad social interaction skills.
Hi! This is my first checkin since I'm still a noob. I'll try to get it right.
momtex, Texas TTC #2, Just started actively TTC at the beginning of 2015 so on cycle #2 CD 5. DH is traveling CD 12-14 (dammit) but we'll give it our best shot anyway.
QOTW: I always wanted to be a teacher like my mom. I'm a speech pathologist in an elementary school so I got pretty close to that mark.
Hello my lovelies, Margaret from Michigan TTC #1 with 2 losses since June 2012 CD27 - waiting for AF so I can start stimming for IVF #2. QOTW: I probably wanted to be a teacher. Instead I ended up in Advertising.
AKA Lesliem0901 TTC#1 since June 2012 Dx: AMA (42)|DH (42) BFP after 4th IUI cycle with Gonal F + Ovidrel on March 2014 | EDD 12/7/14 | MMC on 4/14/14 IVF #1 BFP on 9/11 | EDD 5/20/15. MMC confirmed on 10/13. D&C on 10/14 at 9w (male with Trisomy 14). IVF #2 - CCS testing of two 6-day blasts (no go). CYCLE BREAK. BFP on 6/14/15! EDD: 2/20/16. MMC confirmed on 7/10. Trisomy 22. D&C on 7/15. UPDATE: DEg transfer on 1/28; two 3-day embies - BFN
lcwed, tx TTC #2 for a year with 2 losses I got crosshairs today, so WooHoo! 3 DPO. That means that the amount of time to get AF after both my losses will be about the same and this time I know about when to expect AF.
flyliceandcoffee I also wanted to be a doctor except for the blood stuff. I also wanted to be a teacher until I saw the Challenger explode. My little 8 yo mind thought all teachers had to go into space and I didn't want to die. All my other choices like lawyer and doctor all centered around kids. I finally realized I was meant to be a teacher and here I am with 15 years under my belt.
momtex I love our school's speech pathologist. You guys are an invaluable resource to us.
Will be reactivating my FF account and starting to work on #2 sometime after my LO turns 1 at the end of March. Lately I have been concentrating on exercising more and trying to be in better shape this time around.

luvmyponies TTC#1 since May 2014 CD 1 (a week early, but not unexpected considering I had the flu this month) Currently waiting for a call back from the RE about scheduling blood work on CD 2, 3 or 4.
QOTW: I wanted to be a veterinarian.
vh2014 - glad you guys have a plan! Hoping you get your BFP soon!!

Good afternoon, ladies!
- TTC #1 with one MMC - Currently 11DPO and trying not to listen to one of my gfs who is a total pee pusher by waiting until Friday (if you saw my TWW post, FF says to test Thursday but I'm trying to hold out for 1 extra day). - QOTW: I wanted to be a ballerina and then that changed to an architect or engineer, and I wanted to work in space. I like to dream big ?
FX crossed for everyone waiting to test. Except for you Divefrog - you need to pee, like now!!
Just a little FYI: AF still hasn't come this afternoon (biting lip, wringing hands)....I've decided to test tommorrow morning if AF has still not arrived. If my calculations are correct I will be 17DPO, which is the same day I tested with DD and got a super, super faint line.
So feel free to stalk the board tomorrow AM, I will post results good or bad.
Thanks for starting clsquared- good luck on Thursday!
Vh2014- I liked your 'taxing' reference good luck.
Divefrog I hope that bfp comes and you can cancel your RE appointment! Please send some jinx sauce this way
TTC #2 since 8-13
I am 4 days past iui. Went in today and confirmed ovulation so now the waiting starts. This is the first TWW that I've been excited for in a long time.
I wanted to be a tap dancer on a cruise ship or a teacher. I ended up being a teacher.
Mushe from Cali TTC #2 since 3/14 Tests show my eggs either suck or there aren't many. First RE appointment is next week, right at FW. I need to really nail down what my plan is until May, when MH and I agree it's "safe" to do treatments and not interfere with a huge work project that I asked to take on. Most of me wants to not bother waiting, but it would be huge, career wise. H wants to keep TTC on our own for Feb-April.
QOTW: An attorney. And I am...an attorney! Lol. I kept coming back to it, and went to law school after taking almost 4 years off to pursue the wine business.

FX for you! The wait can be maddening, but it is always better when you feel good about your chances!!
DH was so positive and excited about this month, He said it "felt right" HA. I have been trying to keep a level head.
Hello Ladies thought I would join you guys.... Wirt2cute, TN TTC #3 since January 2014 Cycle day 6 HSG showed crappy left tube and only spillage from the right tube Laparoscopy scheduled for 2/18/15 and the left will be will be removed and right tube will hopefully cleared of small adhesion's. Once the surgery is over my RE will discuss next steps.
Benched for the month of February.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher and I actually taught for a little while, until I realized that teaching high school is not for me so I am finishing up my licensure and will try my hand a elementary or middle school.
Post by URMySunshine77 on Feb 3, 2015 16:35:17 GMT -5
URMySunshine77 from Northern California TTC#2 since April 2014 CD14 My tests are normal except for a slightly elevated TSH (2.52). Proceeding without SA and RE intervention. We both feel comfortable with natural cycles right now. Personally, I would really like the SA information, though. We'll have to TTC again in March, as I'm in my FW and DH is on work travel this week. Up until this point, we have been able to time his trips around my FW, so I can't complain too much.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a veterinarian until I developed strong cat allergies.
wirt2cute I am an elementary teacher and love it. URMySunshine77 I would also be a veterinarian if it wasn't for my awful animal allergies. Dogs I can tolerate but cats and horses are the worse.
I am on CD4. We have a consult tomorrow to discuss IVF. DH and I are undecided of we want to pursue it or adopt instead. Not very hopeful at this point as we would only be able to do a single round of IVF and from what I've read, 1st try IVF success numbers are low.
I really hope to see some BFP's from you ladies - it feels like it's been forever since one was announced. FX for all of you!
QOTW - I'm pretty sure I wanted to be a teacher, lawyer, and many more things. What did I end up doing....an administration manager. I've always been a little bossy so guess it's probably fitting...lol
Lucyspeople from the other site TTC#2 since Sept 2014 On our own this cycles. Lots of supps. Just got a + OPK yesterday. Only a little CM today. Lots of sex but not too hopeful due to MFI
QOTW: I don't remember. Isn't that awful? I have such a terrible memory. It really makes me sad. I know I had a happy childhood until like age 10 and then parents divorced and it went all wonky. Think I wanted to be a mom and housewife. Hmmmm.
Married 01-04-2013 *AMA* 40 in June 2015 **1-19-15 Childless, not by choice" 1st EDD- 12-02-13 MC 5/1/13 @4w6d 2nd EDD 11-13-14 MC 4/15/14: discovered 1st twin @5w 2nd twin @10w 3Rd BFP- 10-10-14 EDD 6/16/15: MC 10-16-14 @5w2d
lickwed I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher AFTER I grew up... still would if I had to start over. I've taught Sunday school before and LOVE the little ones. It's funny, I don't have patience with much but with younger kids I've been told I have all the patience in the world. I just think that I get it because we think alike.
boobacat I wondered if that was too geeky for everyone.
@clgsquared and boobacat I haven't seen her post but wow are there a lot of trolls and silly posts going on over there. I'm still lurking for BFPs and the few that didn't move.
mushe yes, DHEA is supposed to lower FSH by counter acting Cortisol and increasing Estrogen, but it can also increase Testosterone (so not recommended if you already have signs of increased Testosterone or PCOS). In a study in Greece 5 of 5 women with High FSH, Low AMH, and I think Low Estrogen (but don't quote me on the last one) actually got pregnant. Some hadn't had a period in 9 months to a year (this is my issue too). They are doing a double blind study now from what I read and other studies haven't been as lucky as the one in Greece. The other numbers I have seen have been like 50%... but that's still better than first round IVF in some instances. They've also shown less miscarraiges in people taking it so I thought why not. Also, I have all of the other symptoms of high Cortisol and I definitely have been through crazy stress to my body in the last year (Losing 45 pounds, changing jobs, the wedding, buying a vacation home, 2 different types of BC withdrawal, and more). While they were all choices I made and were "good stress" it's still stress which raises Cortisol. And I've gained weight back... all in the middle. So DHEA it is unless we go to IVF in April (hoping we won't make it that far). Then RE will decide if we should continue or not. The RE I ended up with works with a TCM doctor as well so they are open to "trying things" as long as they don't interfere with their treatment. There was a big write up about how "east meets west" was working for them in a local magazine. FX. (PS- I know DHEA is not TCM, just the article is an indicator they aren't closed minded about their way or the highway which is important to me.)
vh2014 thank you so much for the information! I'll ask the RE about it when we see him next week. I haven't had Cortisol levels checked, but my stress has been way high for a while now due to work.
DS: 11/11 AMA now, and TTC #2: 3/2014. MMC@8w in 5/2014 and CP@5w in 12/2014. DOR and MFI diagnosis IUIs#1&2 (femara/menopur combo): BFN IUI#3 (femara only due to timing): BFP! EmsMama15 from MN TTC#2 since July 2014 8 dpiui, zero symptoms Feeling resigned, busy at work, now sick. We have a plan to mix it up and be more aggressive next month (all injects), so that's really helped me stay calm this month. I hope the IUI worked, I really do, but I just don't know.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? A pediatrician - I'm a neonatal nurse practitioner so not too far off. I actually decided not to go to med school because I knew I wanted to have kids and figured med school, residency, and fellowship would take too long. HA! I actually ended up going 7 years of bachelors level and 2 years for my masters and not meeting my husband till I was 36. Go figure!
vh2014 - I'm so happy to hear the DHEA is having some impact and that you have a plan going forward. Good luck!
mushe They didn't test mine... just based on symptoms and life experiences... I guess we shall see. I was basically told it wouldn't hurt at this point.
EmsMama15 I have been pleasantly surprised with the DHEA so far. Will definitely be keeping everyone up to date if there are any "break throughs" with it.
I do not know where I'm at in my cycle because of a recent loss. For now, we are just having fun. I will probably start temping again once my first period returns, but for now, I like the little break. I do not know if I will do OPKs again (I have to buy more)...time will tell on that one.
QOTW: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher (my mom was a teacher). As it turns out, I followed that dream and love it
