Have any of y'all had a fever this pregnancy? If so, what did you do? I called my OB's office in hopes of speaking with an on call OB nurse, but there is just a recording that says if you think you're in labor or experiencing complications to go to L&D at the hospital to be evaluated. I have a 101 fever and have not kept any food down today. I'm not being ridiculous for going in to L&D, for this, right?
If you think you need to go, go! Better safe than sorry. Did you take Tylenol?

I had to go last time with DD when I got a high fever and couldn't keep food or water down. I ended up being dehydrated and on an IV. I think if you're worried it's worth the trip or at least a call into L&D to see what they suggest.
These last 3 weeks have been full of sickness! First DD had a stomach bug then I got it last week and now DH has shingles. He has an autoimmune disease and takes medicine that can cause it but he's been on it for years. I think between work and all the sickness that stress brought it out and because he's autoimmune the fevers and headaches are hitting him hard! Thankfully the pain from bumps have gone away and it was only in 2 spots. I'm just exhausted today and DD wouldn't nap again so it's been a long day! This is also why I haven't been participating as much as I'd like. Hoping he gets better soon and we can get back to normal!
This happened to me early on this time. The fever was controlled with Tylenol and I just made sure to drink a lot so I didn't end up dehydrated. Between Gatorade and sleep, I got over it after about 24 miserable hours.
I'm in L&D now and all is well with the baby. I'm still waiting for the results of my flu swab and some other tests that I can't remember. I'm getting IV zofran and fluids.

Sounds like you made the right decision to go. If nothing else the fluids and zofran should help you feel better!
DD got a stomach bug Friday night. She was pretty much fine after throwing up a number of times in a 3-4 hour period. She was a bit lethargic yesterday but eating and drinking. Today she's back to normal. I have been feeling sick for the past 2 days but I feel like I have myself completely freaked out and worked up about it because I'm a crazy person. I'm super glad we all have the day off tomorrow. We need the extra day!

Add me to the stomach bug list. We were in the ER with DS last night. He had to get zofran and we were there forever. He kept saying, "I can't do this anymore!" After he'd get sick. It was so sad.
Today he seems better but I think we need to keep him home tomorrow. I'm really hoping DH and I don't get it.

Awe poor little guy! Right before she was about to throw up one of the times she said "Mommy make me feel better". I almost cried. It's so sad and pitiful when they are so sick.

So far no spotting all weekend and DS has been able to climb on everything!!
DH and I decided to go "Facebook Official" tonight and announce. We posted a pic of two shirts (one said Jedi Master and the other said Jedi Padawan) with the caption that in a little over 15 weeks the student becomes the teacher.
I desperately needed some new maternity jeans and bought some of the Jessica Simpson ones online tonight with buy one get one 50% off. I've been surviving on 1 pair that I got early on this pg and 1 pair from my last PG that seem really dated and don't fit that well (they boot cut and a weird medium wash color and have a little hole in the panel). I hope these new ones are good!
DD was well enough to go ahead with her party yesterday, and I'm so glad - she had a blast! I love that she's slowly starting to understand more things and definitely got that yesterday was about her. No real meltdowns or anything either - a definite bonus!
For later in the day I made a small version of a bear cake that I had for my own second birthday.
PIP! (but will probably delete later, so please don't quote!)
cattuccino, so glad to hear she was feeling well enough for her party! And I had almost the exact same cake when I was little. Must have been a popular one when we were kids!!

I am exhausted. DS actually slept in his bed all night, and even slept in, but it was such a tiring weekend, I am still exhausted. We are home today, even though I am supposed to be working. I am hoping we can get a nap in today.
