We are grinch's and do nothing special per say. We may make a special dinner or get take out but that's hit or miss depending on the year. This year we are getting our taxes done and going out to Legal SeaFoods to spend a $200 gift card my wife got as a gift. The boys are going to day care and the mamas' are planning on tipping a few back, hello French Martini, I'm looking at you, and eating mussels in a white wine garlic sauce. Can you tell I'm excited!!!

No big plans here, I do something small for DS and C and our whole extended Family gets together since it's SIL's birthday so we basically all get a "get out of Valentine's Day free card".
karlamo The martini and mussels both sound amazing.
J and I worked at a card shop together right after college and are a bit cynical about Valentine's Day. We don't celebrate per se, but will do a big date night when I get back from CA.

Usually have to do something. This year we sent each other care packages and I'm sure we will FaceTime and text tomorrow. BTW - She passed her EMT Skills. Next up registry! I get to trigger tomorrow...
CET is flying back from Panama (quick trip) and my parents are visiting (the only reason CET went) so I'm not sure how much we will do today. Probably just exchange little gifts among all of us later in the day and M has a few gifts to open from friends.
Our dating anniversary is 2/21 so we normally celebrate that more than Valentine's Day. This year it will be 12 years!
CET & CAR - both 30, married Aug, 2013, together 12+ yrs.
TTC #1: CAR carrying IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid, trigger = BFN IUI #3 - Switched to Gonal 150iu. Overstim led to 'surprise' IVF. Retrieved 21, 14 mature, 13 fertilized, all 13 made it to day 5, 9 PGS normal. Transferred 1 AA hatched blast 5/1/15 Baby Girl M born 1-21-16
We celebrated yesterday - my sister hosted a "Galentine's" Day luncheon for all the women in our family, and last night, V and I went to a concert. We've done presents in the past, but because we're spending so much of our money TTC right now, we figured we can do without gifts this year.
Unfortunately, I seem to have caught the latest cold/flu virus that is going around. I'm thankful we got to have fun on Friday and yesterday, because I've been eating oranges, drinking water and hanging out on the couch all day. V is gathering all of our stuff to file our taxes online. Sooo romantic!
I hope you all are spending time with people you love!

Our daring anniversary is the 20th and it will be 5 years for us.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

My wife got me a box of disposable diapers for my present! I'd been complaining about using cloth ones overnight. They're just so bulky! So this morning in bed we did presents. I got her EOS chapstick. I know we're pretty boring, but I'm all jazzed up about not using cloth at night!
We'd planned on going to a nice lunch to a steakhouse with friends. Unfortunately, L was sick (ironically, we tried to go to this same place last year for V-day and I was sick...) L spent all day in bed and I took the kids to a much more casual lunch with our friends (we will reschedule in a few weeks for our nice lunch.) We walked around the mall with our friends to let L rest and then home for a lazy afternoon/evening.
We did buy the kids Dukes of Hazard DVDs (something I never thought I would do...LOL...but they discovered the old school show and love it.) I bought L a new glasses case, a gift card to the movie theater, and an IOU for that steak dinner.

I took the day off from BOTH jobs! We went to breakfast, went grocery shopping together and ran a few errands before settling in for a movie marathon at home. It was magical
