txmommy14, I just want to send you some more hugs because I understand the anxiety and the frustration, and the embarrassment which isn't something parents are really allowed to talk about usually. We've talked about late walkers before since DS was a late walker, but having to explain to people why your toddler is crawling when the 10 month old next to them is running around can be heartbreaking. I hope that whatever this issue is clears up quickly and he's running around again soon!
Thank you!! I sucked it up and took him to the library today. He had fun, even though he was crawling around the next to the 10-month-olds. I realized I can't hold him back just because of my insecurities about it, I don't need to explain things to other moms.

I'm still playing catchup on old threads but I just want to say txmommy14 I'm so sorry your son is still having problems with his leg! I'm glad the orthopedist is involved and agrees with the diagnosis. Toxic synovitis can definitely do this. The blood work was probably really important to rule out more serious causes. I'm still so sorry for all you're having to deal with though! I hope he gets better soon, and if he doesn't don't be afraid to seek another opinion.
