1. 34 weeks today with a little lady! DS is 14 and is constantly showing us excitement about meeting his new baby sister!
2. At last week's midwife appointment they were happy that my GD is being managed well with diet which makes me happy because as long as it keeps going that way I can stay with my midwife. YAY!
We have an ultrasound this week and I'm a bit anxious about it for a silly reason.... I've been having a recurring dream where after the ultrasound they send me straight to be induced because the baby is too big. My fundal measurements have consistently been almost 2 weeks ahead so I guess that's where this is coming from but whatever...I'm bringing our hospital bags.
3. I'm tired and achy and always need a nap. Also, although my GD is managed well, I still have all kinds of feels about it. My life with GD:
Besides that, life is good. I'm excited about meeting our baby girl and find it hard to focus on anything else....
QOTW: 1. It's pretty much non-existent here. I was throwing up so much in the beginning that that there was no way I could even imagine a sex life and I think I went from that to being big and uncomfortable and just not feeling much sexy mojo. Sigh. Not that we haven't at all but poor C....there has certainly been a major decline in both quantity and quality.
2. We haven't quite figured this out yet; right now DS calls me Mum and C by her name so I guess I'll continue to be Mum...is it possible that the baby will just figure it out herself? I find myself calling C Mom, Mama and 'your other Mother' when I talk to the baby.
We got the results of our first trimester screen which were good. They also tried to change our due date to 8/7. This whole due date thing seems to be a very inaccurate science. The only reason I'm concerned about it is that it seems to be an issue at the end of the pregnancy. The same thing happened with O since she was so long, she measured ahead the entire pregnancy.
Our next midwife appt is the 24th. Not much happening till then.
We have told all of our immediate family about the pregnancy now. They all seem excited or at least now saying anything to us to the contrary. I'm really nervous about having 2 kiddos so young at once but we will manage I am sure.
QOTW: 1. Um yeah, all of this is in a very sad state of affairs. I am hopeful that now the first trimester is over things will improve. That was the case with O's pregnancy but I'm really not pushing anything.
2. I'm mommy and M is momma. O just started to be able to say 'mommy' but will call us both mom.

27w1d with the boys.
We have an ultrasound and OB appt on Thursday. I'm excited to see how big the babies have gotten. My app says they should be about 2.2 lbs, but I'd guess they're close to 3lbs each based on how big they were at the last scan.
I'm looking at the possibility of booking a session or two with a chiropractor at the recommendation of some good friends. The back and sciatic pain has gotten to a pretty significant level, and I'm hoping it may help. Other friends have recommended a belly band, but I can't find one that has consistently good reviews. Any suggestions?
QOTW 1:
That is to say, no. I'm not actually sure I could lay on the bed in a position that could accomodate sex without sobbing in pain. And we gave up on bathroom counter sex once I could no longer get my leg up on the counter. It's pitiful.
QOTW 2: We're planning on Mom and Mom, or whatever variation of that the boys choose. I like 'Mama' for myself, but I'm fine with whatever. I have a feeling that "Papi" may slip in where C is concerned, because that's what the cats and I call her as a term of endearment, but we don't want to complicate the issue of two moms (C is VERY androgenous and often mistaken for a man) for the boys, so we're pretty set on establishing the mom/mom routine.

crazyaunt84 - One friend of mine decided to use a belly support band and said that although she stopped having pain in her lower back and hips she started having pain in her upper back, neck and shoulders. Perhaps the chiropractor will have a good recommendation.

Update: I just left my ultrasound and they didn't send me to have the baby! Success! Now hopefully I sleep better tonight than I did last night.
Baby girl wouldn't show her face but she's got her head down - very low - and is in a great position. She's also still measuring ahead. They didn't give me any details on my fibroid and told me that they can't say anything about it until the scans have been reviewed by a doc.

wittyandwaiting - glad you're still here and baby girl is still cooking! Hope all is well with the fibroid. It's insanely annoying when they know stuff but won't tell you because they're not 'medically certified' to do so. Blargh.

25 weeks, one day with baby number 1, a girl.
Midwife appointment on Tuesday, I had some dizziness and hot flashes one week apart from each other that I'll talk to her about - not sure if it's blood pressure or blood sugar related but that's about it. Sleeping poorly and achy muscles and back.
Work threw me a baby shower today, there are three of us going off one month apart so it was a joint shower (which is awesome since I don't like to be the centre of attention.) People were super-generous, it was sweet.
QOTW:
1. Definitely took a nosedive, we're going out of town this weekend... so I'm hoping that will spark a little romance.
2. The little one will figure it out, once she's here we may take up opinions... but I don't find it a big deal at this point.
Oh, I want to play too. I always forget to check in on this board even though I lurk all the time
1. 12w, 1d. Due 9/3 with one little girl.
2. We had our first OB appointment on Friday after being released from the RE on Monday. Everything is going well.
3. I've been struggling with morning sickness. Diclegis helped some, but the OB gave me zofran and nexium. I haven't thrown up in 2.5 days which is beyond amazing.
QOTW: 1. Nope. Everything went downhill since the IVF cycle. My poor wifey. But who really wants to puke on their partner. Or be puked on. Hopefully 2nd tri and Zofran will help.
2. We're planning on momma and mommy but also know that the kid might come up with their own thing.
