So tired! I'm sure you all are sick of hearing about my cold (I'm sick of having one to complain about!), but I'm back to work at work today and I just want to be home laying down.

I had my performance review at work this morning and told my supervisor about the pregnancy (I knew she would be understanding, we're the same age and she has a 2 y.o. so she totally gets the working mom/parenting young kids stuff). She was very kind about it, though she wasn't thrilled that I want the full 12 weeks of FMLA this time (I only took 9 last time), but tough cookies. This is my last baby and I want to enjoy as much time with him/her as possible.

LadyNymeria hope you feel better soon! Being sick sucks, but add being pregnant to the mix and it's a double whammy for sure!
Another tmi, but not too bad. I have this skin tag on my armpit and yesterday it was sore and kinda pink and inflamed looking. Well this morning it's really dark and purple! Looking at it from the side, it kinda looks like a mushroom cloud. Wtf?! I usually don't go to the doctor for things, but I'm thinking maybe I should go to urgent care.
serendipity731 I had moles change last pregnancy that I had to get removed. (They were benign, just changing). Pregnancy can do weird things to your body!

Good to know. I have a mole of some sort on the underside of my left boob - I had it checked out within the last yea and the dr said it was nothing to worry about, but it has gotten a little bigger since I got pregnant. I need to get it looked at again, and probably just removed at this point, but my dermatologist stopped taking my insurance as of January 1 so I need to find someone new first and have all my records transferred. So annoying.

I hate insurance stuff. Hope you get it figured out!

Amen sistah. I spent all of 2014 w/o a primary care doctor or a nearby urgent care facility because of insurance changes.

Totally this, definitely better to get checked out (take it from this pale-skinned, melanoma-prone girl who has a yearly mole-removal party with my dermatologist) weird/changing skin stuff is nothing to mess with!

I've had this happen before. Somehow it got twisted and the circulation was cut off to it. Then it fell! I'd maybe wait for urgent care another day.
Back at work after a long weekend at the ILs. It was interesting as always... Sometimes I wonder how my H became a normal functioning human. We all had a cold, but I think it's behind us now.
I threw up at work for the 1st time ever, not fun at all. There's a pretty big snow storm going on, maybe we'll get to leave early.
Good morning everyone! I'm feeling super spoiled after my H was home for 4 days helping with the toddler. He's now back to work and I'm on solo duty from wake up to bedtime for a long time since things are picking back up from him at work. It's so nice to have an extra set of hands!
singingsea I'm only 8+ weeks but I feel like it has really picked up lately...I pretty much live in pantyliners because it's just too gross. I remember it from my pregnancy with my daughter as well.
TMI question for those who are 11/12 weeks. Have you noticed a huge increase of CM? Like soak your underwear CM?
You have one of our earliest due dates so I bet you'll get to deal with a lot before it hits the rest of us!
I've noticed increased CM in general compared to when I wasn't pregnant, but it hasn't gotten any worse recently. But I'm 10w4d so I'm a bit behind you.

We had to switch insurance carriers when my husband transferred jobs. I have just learned that our new plan has a higher deductible than our old plan. And it covers 80% of my prenatal care, not 100% like our old carrier did. Good times.
Working a half day from the office and the rest of the day from home today. I'm exhausted - H got a new set of speakers yesterday and wasn't able to really sit down and list to them until we got home from some meetings after 9:30, so we didn't go to bed until after 11.
Then we spent our morning trying to decide if we're going to do the genetic testing or not. I'm worried it'll just add to my stress level, but ultimately I also want to know ahead of time if anything might be wrong. So now I need to call the imaging center and set up our dating ultrasound, and then the doctor's office to let them know we do want to do the genetic screening.
On the plus side, my next three appointments are all scheduled and in our calendar, so that's nice.
Oh, and I bought a $10 box of chocolates for $2 this morning on my way to work.

I'm with you on this. It was so nice having mine home to help (and he did a lot to help me). Yesterday DS was home from school for Presidents day, so at least I had his help. But today, it's all me, and DD is not feeling well
same as singingsea, my whole household is sick too. It's the pits. Hoping your boys recover soon!
DS woke up like 10x last night because he keeps coughing himself awake. It's the 3rd straight night of this. I was soo exhausted that I went to bed at 730 last night.
Upside- DH and I are going on a late Valentine's date to Melting Pot tonight. My BFF is coming over to put DS to bed so babysitting is FREEEEE
Skin changes during pregnancy are definitely something to get checked out! I went to the dermatologist last pregnancy due to some mole changes, and they found a basal cell carcinoma. I also had a couple moles that needed to be removed.

Thanks for all the input ladies! I went to urgent care and she said it was *tmi* full of blood and I probably just irritated it somehow. Long story short, she cut it off. I'm so glad to have the damn thing gone! It didn't even hurt. I have an hour until I have to be at work so I'm grabbing a bite to eat at corner bakery. Bonus!

I finally put a bucket in my car just in case. Even with a snack between breakfast and lunch it took 2 sour preggie pop drops to get home to get my lunch without getting sick. Realized I was tempting fates by not having some sort of receptacle in my car!
Guess I need to be better about having meals and snacks closer together.
