DD has figured how to turn the Xbox on (and loves the sound the button makes). I probably should move it up a shelf on our tv stand.
DH likes to give DD a controller to the ps4 so she can "play" along. I accidentally spilled water on it, so it won't play the game, but she can totally turn it on, which screws him up sometimes. Which is his own fault.
Have him take the batteries out of it before hand. Your LO can still "play along", but can't do anything with it.
Dear DH - don't bug me about dinner when you are home before me and then once I finally figure out what to cook and start it, then bug me about do I need help and do I want him to take over so I can have some playtime with DD.
If you are that hungry, go ahead and start making something!!!
I don't know where to put this... My great aunt passed away, Sunday. My dad called me tonight. We were quite close.. She was my mentor as a teen. I've been meaning to write her a letter back for a month now..
Instead I will be either driving or flying to Missouri in a week to say goodbye.
Just read the shopping thread...anyone else in a lifelong style rut? I constantly say I'm going to become stylish then cop out because I don't want to confuse people with a new look and be totally noticable and attention drawing.
Someone on my facebook comments on a page called "Prego & Monmy Chat"... I couldn't help but take a peak at the page, I should have known from the title what I would find. Worst advice ever! Giving your 5 month old 3 jars of baby food a day, starting babies on cows milk at 8 months, someone's 2 month old "says very little words." also advice on how to request that people don't wrap their baby shower gifts(what?!).
I am so thankful for you ladies and how intelligent you are.
I made honey garlic chicken for dinner, with rice and stir fry green beans. DH asked for bbq sauce.
Why do men need to have bbq sauce with everything? Dh won't even try any meat I make with out it. Even if it is already seasoned or has it's own sauce.

My husband wouldn't ask for BBQ sauce in this dinner, but he would give me serious side eye for the green beans and if he were bold enough, probably throw them at me. He hates green beans with a passion. (Sometimes I can sneak them in only if the beans are really masked by other stuff.)
The other day he was giving baby girl a puree that has green beans in it and didn't know, so he tasted it to check the temperature and said he almost threw up on her, hahaha!

DH hates green beans, too. Too bad for him. That's what's for dinner.
Eta I made him eat it without bbq sauce. He loved it.
