JUST FOR FUN - Significant dates??

Is there any date around the time LO is expected to arrive that would have special significance to you?  Are you hoping for a particular birthday?  I think it will be fun to see if any of our LOs arrive on dates that are special to us!

There is an unusually high number of people in my mom's family who have birthdays on the 21st of the month. All different months, just happens to be the 21st. Probably 15 of 50 or so people. Everyone predicted that DD would arrive on the 21st because of this and she did. I think it would be funny if this LO did too! Probably too early though.

More realistically I am still crossing my fingers for a Leap Day baby - I think it would be neat.

ETA: just realized 2/21 would be DD's half birthday too.  I am really in to number things like that.  I sort of took it as a sign that I was 12 weeks pregnant on DD's birthday.  I am a weirdo.

I think 3/3 would be cool, easy to remember lol. DD1's birthday is 11/1/11 and DD2 was born on the 13th of the month, in 2013, so also easy to remember.
Obviously, whenever baby makes her arrival I'll be happy, but if I had a choice, 3/3 would be the day.
MH is dying to have her born on 2/29 and that is the LAST day I'd want.
So naturally, she'll come on leap day haha.

We just think it'd be super fun to have a Leap Day Baby. No actual significance there, though... Just fun and unusual.

Both DS and I are born on the 1st of a month (as was my brother), but given I'd be too early for March 1st, and I don't want an April Fools baby, hoping to not continue that trend.
I feel like she's going to come on 3.14, which is a plus for math geeks, but really crummy for DH since that's "steak and a BJ day", that we celebrate every year haha.

Agreed.  I think it would be kind of cool.  I worked with a guy who was celebrating his 7th birthday.  Also, H's bday is March 4 and my bff's is March 11.  Baby is due the 8th so it'll be a busy couple of weeks.

My parents' anniversary is 3/13 and my brother and sister in law got married in 3/15. C/S is currently scheduled for the 15th.

I'm an April Fools baby lol. No big deal here! I like it because sometimes it falls on Good Friday and I get my birthday off paid!

My choice would be 3/8. 8 seems to pop up repeatedly for us. H's b-day is on the 8th of the month; our anniv. is on 8/18. In fact, LO's edd (3/15) is during our big spring livestock show, which is where H & I first met...8 years ago.

I'm kind of rooting for a leap year baby just because it'd be kind of unique. Any day but 3/15 would be fine though as that is the birthday of an old bf who passed away. I was nervous when I found out my EDD was 3/10 for that reason but, the way things are going now and went with DS, I'd be really surprised if I went over so I'm not too concerned.

I have friends with birthdays on March 10th and 11th. My induction is scheduled for 3/13, and I was born the 14th of a different month. I have a nephew whose birthday is 3/16 and thought it would be cool to share a birthday with this baby. (He's also hoping we're having a boy.) My mom and Great Dane share a birthday of 3/23

I'd like 3/18 just because dd is 12/18. My sister's kids are 1/8, 2/8 & 4/8 lol.
I'd rather skip 3/17 though since it's st Patricks day and my parents wedding anniversary and they are divorced lol.

I am just hoping for not my actual due date. Trying to get to the hospital in Boston on St. Party's day sounds like an absolute nightmare.

That would be a serious nightmare.
We were discharged from the hospital with DD2 less than an hour before the marathon bombings occurred and all hospitals went into lockdown... That would've been so scary.

My niece's birthday is St. Patrick's day, 3/17. She wants baby born on her birthday.

I'm due 3/21, but my doctor offered induction 3/14, so we're on the calendar for that. I can always back out (I'm not really wanting to be induced, but I've had 2 successful inductions before and I can plan out who can watch the boys and dog since we have no family local), but H and I like the idea of a Pi day baby. We are nerds....

I'm due 3/15, the Ides of March.
DH's birthday is 3/16. (This chance is extra funny because DS was born on our anniversary.)
St. Patrick's Day is 3/17.
My brother's birthday is 3/23.

If baby is early, they could hit Leap Day (2/29) or (if VERY early) my Dad's birthday (2/19).

DH's niece is also a St. Paddy's Day bday.  She does not want to share her birthday.  Mind you she is 19yrs old.

I won't go past 37 weeks because of cholestasis. I'm set up to deliver on March 7th. My five year old niece wants the baby to come in her bday which is March 4th. My other niece was born on March 5th. Either way, the first of March is going to be super full of bdays.

I'm due 2 days before Easter, so an Easter baby would be cool. But if she came on her due date, that is Good Friday, so also cool.

My x boyfriend's birthday is DS'S EDD. So I'd be nice if he had his own day...

I keep putting off buying anything with a march birthstone because I have this nagging feeling he'll be born the very end of Feb.

I'm measuring about 4 days ahead which matches when I thought my due date was, 3/7. So if he came a week early he'd fall right at the end of Feb.

My niece who has the St. Patty's bday was induced that day because she was a week late. She's turning 9.

I'm well aware of that.  But it doesnt change the fact that she would be born on Easter Sunday...

Today is H's birthday so that would have been cool. I had 3 hours of strong contractions last night and thought maybe today was the day. Then they stopped. Leap day would be cool but I'm kind of hoping he decides to come before my EDD, not after!
