1. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
2. What's your idea of a perfect Sunday?

1. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? The world may never know.
2. What's your idea of a perfect Sunday? Sleep in, drink coffee and eat bagels on the couch, go out and do something leisurely (museum, pedicure, play with my niece and nephew) and then dinner out.
Then my next AMA question for you is, why do you loathe the term "date night"?
Short answer? I'm easily annoyed by trends. This whole calling it "date night" is a trend. I also don't understand why the night has to be branded at all. Why can't it just be "go out with your significant other" night? Like all those other nights when you go out? Why does it need this special name?
I like the idea of it and I understand why people suggest it to couples. Taking time for each other is really important. I just dislike that it needs a cutesy name.
I feel similarly about "Boy's Night" and "Girl's Night." Joy doesn't do either of those - she just goes out with her friends. Labeling it as one gender/sex only feels very elementary school.
joy, now I really dig you - I am an SF Giants fan forever, I have lived in (and adore!) London, my bestie is Bermudian, and I abhor "date night," "guys' night," "daddy-daugther date," and "playdate" as concepts.
HOWEVER, your dislike of Mexican is suspicious. It makes me wonder if maybe you've only had TexMex or East Coast burritos or something... maybe you need to get out West and eat some CA tacos.

I wasn't holding this against her, but seriously Mexican is the bomb. BUT I'm a Mexican snob. There is no such thing as good (real) Mexican in the part of the country I'm from. I will eat it all, but it's not the same. When I lived in Southern California, that's when I learned.
I've only ever lived on the East Coast. I've been to California, but no, we did not eat Mexican. I will reserve judgment until I have true Mexican food. But, around here? No, thank you.
