H and I are going to see Deadpool tonight. DD should be in bed when it starts so theoretically MIL will only have to watch DS. I'm still nervous about leaving though. But it'll be good for us to have a baby free date night.
Plus H has been wanting to see this movie for a while.

Anyone done Disney with their littles? I'm looking into going during the TCF dates and wanted some advice from anyone who has been with little ones. I'm thinking just a long weekend with 2 days in the parks. Or is that too much?
My H and my DS are GONE for the next five hours!!! My plan is to take a shower, pluck my eyebrows, restore my house to looking like someone who cares lives here, snuggle DD and take a nap!!!!!

What are the dates? And is it FL or CA? I live in Central FL and I would not do it w littles unless spring or fall. Toddlers and infants would be miserable if hot
+ is that your A14 LO would probably love parts of MK and AK, even though she won't remember and you can go without paying for the kids
- is that it's a lot of $$$ for something the kids won't remember and you and your H won't be able to do a lot of things with them. Or one parent will wait with kids while the other rides solo
We are a 1 hr drive away and we won't go anytime soon. I would probably spend the same $$$ on a nice long weekend somewhere we could all enjoy.

So we are taking FIL's truck to appt and he has a car seat in her for SIL's kid. I hope they haven't been using it as is because it's not installed properly. I'll have to say something to MIL when we get back.

10/20-10/25 are the TCF convention dates. During food and wine festival. In FL. I LOVE Disney and have been plenty of times. I'm just not sure if 2 park days back to back would be too much for DD. And also I'm debating whether we would do the park hopper option so that we could check out Animal Kingdom if we wanted.
I'm not worried about ride swapping - Not really my focus on this trip and we can actually do most rides at Magic Kingdom (the majority don't have a height restriction). It's more about enjoying the magic of Disney and getting to enjoy some yummy foods and wine at Epcot. Plus I would like to attend the TCF planned events.
Little man is sick. Hasn't been eating much (totally not like him) fever off and on, cough, and now a runny nose. Took him in yesterday and tested negative for strep, but he is miserable. I am crazy busy at work and the only other person in my department had to leave early yesterday cuz her son broke his leg. So mom watched him yesterday, and part of today but had a haircut already scheduled. I wouldn't let her cancel it, so I ran home to be here while she goes, and then I'll go back to work for a while later. LO just went down for a nap before I got home. I really want to go in and check on him, but I'm afraid I'll wake him up. Damn old house with squeaky floors!
