Stolen from another BMB: Political Quiz

Lurking a few other boards during lunch, I noticed this political quiz attracted a lot of comments on the July board. I don't necessarily want to get into some heated political debate, but I really liked this quiz as it really made me think. I was a little surprised by my #1 person, but #2 and #3 were exactly what I've been saying for a long time, and I feel a little relieved by that.

And no, number #1 definitely isn't Donald Trump

I side equal amounts with Bernie and Hillary as my number 1 and 2. Apparently #3 for me is Jill Stein, who wasn't that far behind. FFThC: I have no idea who this woman is, or that she's a presidential candidate.
I really wish this country would get past a two-part system.

I saw this on the news this morning actually. I think its insane that they want them to create a new way for policy to unlock phones.  If you are in policy custody they normally have the evidence they need.  But giving the policy the right to go through a persons phone for whatever reason they see "fit" sorry I have a huge issue with that.   The thing I saw stated that even google was backing apple up on their decision.

I side 97% with Bernie Sanders. Which is good, because that's who I've been saying I support.

I got 94% for Hillary and 93% for Jill Stein.

Honestly, I will vote for Bernie in the primaries, but if Hillary ends up being the nominee, I will support her.

This is a bit more than just the local drug dealer arrested by the police and them wanted to get into his phone. This is for terrorists and FBI, and I have not problem with that. During the November attacks in Paris, our police got access to some of the guys' phones and that's how they tracked the #1 a$$hole down to an apartment in Saint-Denis. He was ready to perform an other attack on our business center in Paris and if it was not for looking into the phones, he would have probably killed many many more innocent people.

To sum up: Yes to unlocking phones of terrorists for the FBI to prevent further attacks. No to unlocking phones for the regular police to sneak into our lives.

Ahh thank you for the clarification,  I was only half listening while I was getting ready for work.  In that case then I am 100% okay with that.

The three I would vote for, in my same order.

Less than 39% for all GOP candidates.

Just have to say that I am so thrilled to see all this Bernie love. He has done a lot of really wonderful things for the state of Vermont.

On a side note, I shared a plane ride from DC to Vermont with him once. He sat in coach- and always does because he wants to spend his constituent's money wisely. I was really, really pleased to see that simple gesture. I can't name another politician that would do that.

I feel like Trump has a lot of WTF's in his campaign though that a lot of people don't even realize.  Like he is in support of legalizing marijuana and he wants to do away with common core math in public schools. So I can see how someone would side with him at a low percentage.  He was 53% for me in this quiz. 

Even if someone got 100% Trump, I couldn't understand voting for him. He's just making shit up as he goes along. Who knows what he'd have decided he stands for in a few days, much less years?

My highest score was in the low 70%s when I took it. I don't particularly like any of the candidates. I think I've said it here before that I will likely not vote for the president. I'll vote for state/local stuff. Not that it matters in Alabama anyways...

LOL. Sorry I don't mean to be secretive.  I lean Republican so there are a lot more choices which makes a quiz like this more interesting.  I also enjoyed the questions about bitcoins and FBI unlocking the phones, etc. 

My #1 was Ted Cruz.  I really didn't like him but now it makes me second guess him.

Because there are an awful lot of people out there who just want to see a female president, regardless of who that female is, and she is a known face.  She's not my first choice but I will vote for her if she gets the dem nomination, over any of the Republican candidates.  In the past I have voted third party if I didn't like either of the nominations but all of the GOP candidates are so BSC that this time I will do anything I can to avoid seeing them get into office. 

holliberry28, I don't hate her.  I just don't think she is the solution  in the right here, right now.   Eight years ago I would have taken her over Obama, but things change and our political climate in this country is different now.  But like I said above...

My number one is Ted Cruz. I took this a week or so ago, so I don't remember who my runners up were.
Sigh. Funny how you can agree with someone so much and yet not be excited about him at all. I don't know why. He just bugs me. Still, he's not Trump. That's a plus, lol.
I might end up voting 3rd party this year. Especially since CA will go Democrat no matter what.
