I think doing the GTKY/AMA thing would be fun if enough people wanted to share. And the never have i ever threads can be fun, too. It is kind of slow around here.

Sorry you couldn't sleep! Lately I'll be awake for a while in the 2-4 am range but I fall back asleep and sleep hard after an hour or so. It's my special 20 minutes of coffee and silence right now. Ah, I love it.

acorn99, I figure more people will appear in 3rd tri and once babies arrive. But if enough people are down I can do a general thread and everyone can choose a day that they're available best to answer GTkU questions. The NHIE can be a weekend thing when it gets slow as fuck.

TheTuna15, I found that on my other BMB, right after the babies were born it was like a ghost town for a good month or so. Then as everyone got into a routine, it picked back up.

Sorry for the insomnia TheTuna15. GTKYs or other fun threads sound great. I usually get spotty in the middle of the week here as work becomes overwhelming but the beginning of the week and end of the week/weekends are good days for me.

I like the gkty nhie idea. I will try to participate as much as i can. Working full time, and caring for a toddler with a husband who out a lot coaching hs wrestling right now keeps me from interneting as much as i want. But wrestling is almost over. I will be happy to have my husband back on the weekends and evenings.

It made me laugh because when I was in labor with DD they had to do an emergency CS after almost 24 of induced labor. My sister made a snarky comment as they were taking me to the OR and I flipped her off. She goes "you're setting a bad example for the baby!" And of course I tell her the baby can't see it.

Fast forward to sister coming in to meet DD and DD opens her eyes, looks my sister straight in the face and flips her off. I about died.

My husband's family has a tradition of taking a photo of everyone flipping the camera off at every big occasion, and they send it to any family member that wasn't there. My family has since adopted this tradition and we now send photos back to the ILs every holiday or other big event. I told DH when baby comes we're posing it with it's middle finger sticking out and sending a photo of all us to DH's family, since they won't be able to be there. I'm pretty excited about it haha

Count me in for more threads. I do my best to jump in when I can, I often get busy during the day.

DH is out of town for the weekend and of course (gross warning- I'll keep it PG) DS had an explosion all over the crib this morning. I'm going to need an exorcist to get the smell out. I left all the windows open upstairs.

Hoping to get out of here in good time to take the dog for a walk. It's supposed to be nice tomorrow, so hopefully DS, pup and I can go for a hike. Then craft night with some girlfriends!
