I've started my bag, but so far only a thing of toiletries and a pair of yoga pants are sitting on top of it. I need to get moving.

Both - but just did the carseat last weekend at 37.4 weeks.

We actually had both done but took the car seat out last weekend because we needed the space for an extra passenger.

My bag is packed, minus the last minute stuff (hairbrush, makeup, pj pants).

Hubs and I were joking the other day that the nurses probably put $$ down on who the FTM and STM+s are when they come in based on how much luggage they have in tow... FTMs (myself included) ALL THE THINGS; STM+s "Just gimme my hospital robe and my baby."

We are doing the car seat this weekend, we want it done ahead of the version. My plan was maybe to do a hospital bag "light" ahead of that and then add more stuff as we get closer

I packed my bag last weekend because dh was nagging me.
I'll probably get the car seat installed next weekend. Last time dh went and got it installed and then I was in the hospital that night on bed rest soooo I'd rather have it in sooner this time, so about 36 weeks.

This is so freaking true. I way overpacked when I delivered L.  This time around my bag consists of paperwork, 1 swaddle blanket, a couple baby outfits (warm and cool weather), toiletries, hairbrush, pj pants, nursing tank, makeup.

They provide everything else.  I may not even bother with the change of clothes because last time I just went home in what I wore when I arrived.

We rearranged both my DDs' carseats in the van, but still have to install #3.
I have some clothes packed for myself, still need chapstick and a couple toiletries.
I have zero things packed for the baby... I think I have an outfit for her to come home in, and a hat, but we still need to find/buy some burp cloths and maybe a new receiving blanket. The ones we have are pretty worn haha.

I have a small pile of items that I plan to pack in my bag (but haven't yet). As for the carseat... it will not be installed (except for maybe the base) until after the kid arrives. The plan is that at some point DH or my mom will come back for it.

I picked SS.

I started the hospital bag. It has baby's things in it, plus my little cozy robe-like sweater and socks. My toiletry bag is started. The rest will get chucked in last minute.

We're doing the car seat next Saturday since there is an inspection event in our county.

DH did the carseat last week and then the birth center "bag" is mostly packed. We have a tote on the dining room table that we've been filling up over the last couple weeks.

DH installed the carseat bases in both cars last weekend. It was a bit of a project because we had to move DS's seat from the middle to a side seat in each car.

I haven't even thought about my hospital bag. Honestly, most of the stuff I would pack (toiletries, comfy maternity clothes, etc.) is stuff I use on a daily basis now... so packing it seems like it would be a PITA. I'd constantly be digging through the bag to use stuff.

It is theoretically the safest but I had issues with tilting/drifting of the base even after getting it checked by CPSTs multiple times.  Not the end of the world if you install it behind the driver or passenger and then you can probably do LATCH installation which is easier anyway.

I'm doing a ton of laundry today so that I can pack the hospital bag. As for the car seat, we won't be doing that for a few weeks. We did a dry run and it was very easy to install so DH can do it before we leave for the hospital if need be but we transport our dogs in the car all the time and haven't put up the back seat barrier yet so I don't want to leave the car seat in there til that's done.

However I have something in it that can come out if I am GBS+ (about not wanting a hep lock unless I actually need an IV, which I will if I am +) so we are waiting for the test results before we print it. Our doula helped us write it and helped us check it against the hospital policies so we could take things out that we don't need based on the hospital we are at. That way it's shorter and it also just says things I prefer where they are different than the hospital's normal policy, like the heplock. I also checked the things with the hospital to make sure they are allowed even though they aren't the normal procedure.

I was feeling scared that the hospital might ignore any birth plan we wrote, but they actually provide their own birth plan form that they guarantee they will read and take seriously! So we have to do that this weekend.

I still haven't packed my bag. I collect stuff as I think of it, but it's currently in a pile on LO's dresser.

I'm more concerned with getting DD things together. I have no idea if she's going to my parents or if they will just stay at our house
