Any questions/concerns?: Just making sure we are still on track for c-section on the 15th.
Ultrasound/cervical check?: Both I think. Hoping something is going on down there and maybe she will decide her birthday should be before the 15th.
How did it go?:
If that happens will you just have an earlier c-section or will you be trying for a VBAC? How has your hip pain been? Hoping you are more comfortable!! (lol funny joke to say to a 9 month pregnant woman, right?)

Day of appointment: Friday for pre-op appointment
Weeks/days: 38w2d
Any questions/concerns?: I have a huge list of c/s related questions and a question about breech baby hip issues that is probably more suited for a pediatrician but I'll ask anyway.
Ultrasound/cervical check?: ultrasound to confirm she's still breech.
halfahippy, just out of curiosity, what do they do at a c-section pre-op?
I think he's going to go over the procedure, let me ask a million questions, and do blood work. Tbh, I'm not 100% sure what all happens. I'll update Friday though!
Q/C: this intense bout of pain and also lots of vomiting... Been in touch w. The MWs obviously but they don't seem super concerned unless the vomiting becomes prolonged.... Also checking position bc I think she may have flipped and Thursday is the version!
U/S/ CC: weds is just regular 37 week appt. I should get my GBS results back. Thurs is the version, which hopefully I don't need but either way there will be an U/S as part of that.

Day of appointment: Today - the beginning of the weekly appointments! Holy crap, how did this happen??
Weeks/days: 36+3
Any questions/concerns?: Just curious to see if I'm still measuring the same - I've been 4 weeks ahead. I also might ask if they're okay with me seeing a chiropractor for back/hip pain. Being able to walk would be nice. And there were 1 or 2 other things I wanted to ask Doc, but I can't remember what they are right now. Which means I should write them down when I do, because God knows I'll just forget again. So over pregnancy brain.
Ultrasound/cervical check?: 1st cervical check and GBS test today, woohoo. From what Doc said at my last appointment, it sounds like he won't do many more cervical checks after today because it typically takes contractions to get a person to dilate past this point. We'll see how true that rings.

I had an impromptu appointment today. I have a horrible sinus infection and needed antibiotics. I've had some light bleeding off and on since Friday so dr did a cervical check. Still 2 cm and cervix is long so I think I have some time still. I still have my regular appointment on Friday.
Any questions/concerns?: Just making sure we are still on track for c-section on the 15th.

I will almost 100% still have a csection. DS was a very big baby with a head in the 98th percentile and even if he hadn't been breech my doctor feels there's no way he would have fit through my pelvis. So, unless at today's ultrasound he thinks she's going to be a lot smaller we will do a c-section even if I go into labor on my own.
Hip pain is still bad. I'm 100% sitting to teach now because I can barely walk.

Day of appointment: This morning
Weeks/days: 38+6
Any questions/concerns?: I asked about the period-like cramps and rectal pressure I've been experiencing. She said those were all good signs that baby is getting lower and lower.
Ultrasound/cervical check?: And apparently, she was right because I went from barely a 1.5 last week to a 3 this week. She said I was posterior so she her fingers were really up in there and it was the most uncomfortable check yet.
How did it go?: I came out of it with an induction date. I scheduled an induction with DD and she came before it, so I'm hoping that's what happens this time. Doc doesn't think I'll make it another week, but we went ahead and scheduled it because things get so booked up. If LO isn't here by this time next week, I'll go in Tuesday morning. Eeeek! Although, it's nice to have a plan.

Day of appointment: today, 2/22
Weeks/days: 38+6
Any questions/concerns?: any progress down there?
Ultrasound/cervical check?: she did both, but I was only expecting the CC
How did it go: still at 1cm, and not favorable at all for an induction, so I was bummed about that. She originally thought baby turned breech because she couldn't feel her head, so she bought out the u/s and thank goodness it was just baby's hand over her head that she felt. I have an appt on 2/29 for a NST, regular appt, and an u/s... and THEN she said we can talk about scheduling an induction. So I originally was expecting/hoping for a 3/3 induction, but now (if my cervix doesn't change) we are looking more towards a 3/8 induction. It's just a waiting game, so we'll see.
How did it go?: Good - LO is head down, 3cm but she told me this is a STM thing and it could still be weeks - lets just not get too crazy.
Ugh 3cm is a 2nd time mom thing...and it could be weeks?? That's disappointing. I was at 3cm when we checked in with DD
She also didn't say anything about me being effaced. Probably trying to reassure me too since I've still technically got almost 4 weeks. I really need to get my stuff together at work so I don't leave things hanging.
With my first I think I was at 3 cm and 75% effaced at my 38 w appointment, and I had him 38w4d.

peachesncream, rachelilly23, nexttonormal, I know, I just need to go into labor already! Why is it taking so freaking long!! I've been at least 3 cm for almost a month now. I'm glad I'm making progress but it's a total MF too.
rosetyler72 high five to you! The thought of walking around at 5cm (and 3cm for a MONTH!) sounds completely miserable to me and honestly it freaks me out lol. I wouldn't be able to get up, for real. I just looked at a ruler and 5cm...good God!

Yeah, it pretty much feels like a baseball between your legs all the time, my pregnancy waddle is epic. Walking hurts most of the time, but it's progress I don't have to make when I'm in active labor so yay for that I guess?
