Yup it's because we're still not high on the google rankings, so the poor suckers all go to BabyCenter/The Dump because it's what comes up when they google pregnancy forum, or whatever. It's going to be a big group effort to get fresh blood and more FTM's on the board. On Parenting last week they/we were trying to promote TCF to gain visibility in the google rankings. We recruited some from TD but all got banned... (again)... it was fun. We all need to start telling our OBs and all other relevant people about this awesome place, seeding links on related articles and doing other stuff. Fresh blood would be nice and more FTMs would be great too!!!

I think this might be due to the fact this is TCF and not the dump. There were soooooo many people popping in all the time on BMBs on the dump. Sadly, I don't think tons of FTM know about TCF yet.

Yeah, I only know about these boards because I was on GKU back when this site first was being used.

If you're on a computer, you can hover over someone's name and it'll show you their tag. Witty's is @ maasybaby (no space). Just like mine is @ ellasmom not @ellabee. 

I think it's dumb that TCF doesn't let you change your account name (only your "screen name"). I was feeling particularly uncreative when I made my account but by the time I wanted to update it I had too many love tits and posts to want to start over. #sorryrant

WittyLittle, is right. It's hard for people who are just starting to try to get KU to find TCF. I think most of the FTMs are from the 3T/IF or loss boards. Which would make sense because we've been around trying to get KU for years (or at least around a year in many cases) and came over during the great migration.

Actually NariaDreaming, does TCF have an IG account? I think more members could be garnered through Instagram. For example, I started following the Lularoe IG account, then a bunch of consultants requested to follow me. If TCF has an account, they could find and request to follow people that are already following IG accounts like "women irl," "the bump," and "what to expect." Maybe those people would investigate Then Comes Family and join!

We don't have IG yet. Something for bibliothecary to consider. We do have FB/twitter/pinterest

WE are working on postcards to share with OBs/Midwives/RE offices.

And for anyone who wants more anonymity- we can artifically inflate your post count if you want to make a new account, but we can't transfer over yoru love tits.

Click on the person's screen name and then their account name will show up. Then tag with that.

Lots of times I just end up quoting if the person has a ton of numbers or the name is hard to remember.
