You know why this board is so dead? Because everyone is afraid to post. Every freaking Thursday and Friday we sit here and talk about all the shit no one should be saying.
Let's liven/lighten up. I slightly side-eye people who absolutely hate crude people...then again, my uncle and FIL have constantly said 'cock' and 'cum' to each other at random times for forever.
People who expect thank-you's for doing simple tasks are ridiculous.
Example would be H this morning. I asked him to put a strawberry waffle in the toaster oven. He does, then tell me he does and stares at me.
I disagree. You asked him to do something for you, and you should thank him for doing it.
I disagree with YOU. I dont get thanks for vacuuming, or mopping or grocery shopping (or any of the other millions little things I do). Why should I thank him for doing the chores that are his?

I've noticed that when I thank DH for things he has done, he starts thanking me for things I have done.

Hmm, well, this isn't really what I was referring to. My focus was more on the mommy in "Sanctimommy." Basically, at times, some people come across as cocky in their parenting. IDGAF about all that baby comparing nonsense. I think my kid is awesome...since I'm his mom and all!

first of all, don't yell YOU at me...
second of all you are doing it wrong. You need tell your H "you're welcome" in a super snotty tone whenever he doesn't give you proper thanks.

well, my way IS better than your way. It is a proven fact.
