My child has officially stopped sleeping in. Cue ugly cry. Last weekend he woke up at 5 and 6. This morning he got up at 7. This kid used to sleep till 8 or 9. Sigh. I need to remind myself that sleep REALLY ends in September. Anywho I think we're taking DS to the science museum since we're up at the butt crack of dawn.
I feel ya singingsea. DD was up 3 times, then up for the day at 6. Luckily my H ordered to get up with her so I slept another hour. Have fun at the museum! It's warm here so hopefully we'll be outside.
Awake but still chilling in bed with my dog. Probably should get up and eat breakfast though.
Have some errands I need to run before our concert tonight. I should probably start cleaning the house today to so I don't have to do it all tomorrow.
No matter how many times I think I should clean the house earlier, I never do. I clean so much better and faster under pressure to get it done I think!
singingsea and fem, Sorry for the early wake ups LadyNymeria, Have fun at the concert! @sharmon13, I am the same way with cleaning.
I have a 250 page book to finish by the end of tomorrow. I am on page 46 and that took days. It is "New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander for one of my social work classes and it is so dense. Anyone read it?
In good news, I finished the paper on the book for my other class. Also, our pregnancy announcement cards came in! I think I am going to break up my reading by addressing cards so they are ready to go after our appointment on Monday.

theophania, I was a server for 8 years and those nightmares are the worst! Every once in a while, I have a random one, but they were almost nightly when I was serving.

theophania I haven't had one in a while, but all through culinary school and while I was working in bakeries I had nightmares about sanitation issues and health department inspections.

We just got back from a wildlife preserve. A local photographer was offering free sessions to build her repertoire so we took advantage and did family photos. I think they're going to turn out great! Hopefully one of them will be good enough to use as an announcement photo.
We ended up going to the tractor museum, out to eat at a brewpub, then a playground. DD passed right out for her nap and MIL and I are about to head to the consignment stores. Oh and I just ate a brownie. Great Saturday!!

theophania I still get random server nightmares too. Very similar to yours, and I usually forget all the table #s. Good times.
hurricanerek that's awesome! I'm sure they'll be great!
We had so much fun at Disneyland on thurs and DS did great! We were so proud of him. He was so unimpressed with the rides, it was funny. I totally felt hungover from it yesterday, though. I think DS was feeling the same bc he took a 3 hr nap! My ob appt was rescheduled to exit week womp womp Today I'm meeting my cousin at an outside mall and we're gonna get some coffee and walk around. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
DD gets up around 6 too so I feel that pain. It's 7.00am Sunday here so we're about to go for a walk to the bakery and park for a bit before DDs morning nap. Then I will have to do something about the crazy chaos that is my house right now.

We met friends at a nature preserve for a hike mid-morning, then came back to our house to grill brats & hot dogs & let the kids play (their DD & DS are the same ages as ours and love playing together). I had to go to the grocery store at 6 am to get everything I needed and make baked beans & caprese salad in time. It was painful since we stayed up way too late at my sister and BIL's house last night, where DH drank too much scotch with our BIL and was thus hungover this morning. It took all my strength not to smother him with a pillow. Anyway, our friends left a bit ago and my kids are napping while DH is out walking the dog. Couch time for me!
I just spent an hour cooking teriyaki stir fry and after ONE bite I was running to the bathroom. I actually cried because I couldn't eat it. I can't wait to get out of this negative hump and feel normal again!
Love tit because I feel your pain @sharmon13. When I made the chicken pot pie I was craving last week, I didn't get to even taste it because that stomach bug kicked in just moments before the oven timer went off. Teriyaki stir fry sounds amazing; I'm really sorry.
I just ate a brownie for breakfast to make up for not getting the stir fry. It was amazing!
I'm eating Lucky Charms so kind of like a brownie . It's also the first morning in 4 weeks my body could handle anything besides plain toast for breakfast, so that's exciting.
