I never watched Full House so I'm not watching Fuller House.
DS and I went to the park yesterday afternoon & I met a mom who seemed to want to be friends. Her daughter is almost 18 months. She said they're usually there M/W/F so maybe we'll see them again. It'd be nice to know another SAHM locally.
mishka29 how'd your girls night out go? I'm jealous. I need to plan one of those after birthday party week is over.
Hola. It looks like we are done BFing at exactly 13 months. Mostly I am so happy to not have to wear a nursing bra anymore and to have my body back buy it is a little bittersweet.

S is so independent! Congrats on 13 months how long has it been since she nursed? Just curious what self(?) weaning looked like for you.

We were down to just nursing at night for the last several weeks. She nursed Thursday night, but has acted like nursing was nbd for at least a week. So last night I suggested H put her to bed solo he did and she didn't bat an eye.
lilyelayne I watched Full House like it was a religion as a kid but I don't get cable so I won't be watching Fuller House. Sounds fun though.
aggiebug, I'm sure it is sad but I'm glad you are seeing the positives too!
AFM spam: DH took DD1 to run some errands this morning so LO and I watched some Center Stage. I miss being able to watch anything with a baby. They also came back with BWW so I had a few wings as a treat for lunch mmm. The traditional wings with the dry rubs actually aren't that bad calorie wise so I'm still on track. I'm now the lowest weight I've been in a long time! Still have lots to go. Probably just staying in for the rest of the day but I'm going stir crazy. I've only been out of the house (not including work) a few times in like 4 weeks (for grocery shopping).
dreemkin you go girl getting healthy! Keep up the good work.
I am a total lump today. I don't know why but I can't find any energy today. So weird. I don't feel poorly otherwise. The park was a bust lol. DD just stood there holding onto the bench and waving at everyone. She was supposed to get her energy out, oh well she made a lot of people smile.
I'm trying to work through some ignored recs today and it's so boring reconciling things! I'd much rather be home, in the yard cleaning up with V wandering around. By the time I get home the storm will have moved in and it'll be cold and dreary.
But on the plus I don't work tomorrow, except that I might try and work from home anyway to catch up from being sick.

It's so nice to meet people who live nearby and have kids around the same age.
I was very lucky to make friends with a few ladies in my complex and that's who I went out with last night. We had a great time even though one person cancelled at the last min. I had a delicious peach billini and a steak!

Wow! That sounds so civilized. I wanted to start a slow wean off the am and pm feed but LO is so attached to the boobies.

Yeah DD was a good nurser but never attached it seemed. I initiated most nursing. The morning was strange she was ready to drop I could tell but she got fussy when we did so we started watching a show with our cup of milk and no problem. We don't do the show anymore but it helped the transition.
Quiet Sunday all around I see. My phone is saying it's 62 degrees out here. We were going to take a walk but now the sky is looking ominous...
I think tonight is the last Downton Abbey *sobs* I love that show! We usually watch the new episodes on Monday. I'm sad to see it go but I agree that it's time for it to end.
LO had a wonky night last night. She was crying out every 30 mins for 3 hours. No fever and she stopped with a cuddle. Then again at 4 and 5 am. I have no idea what was up with her.
We had a good day of playing, cooking and cleaning. Oh and Paw Patrol watching
