I woke up to a screaming baby, because apparently no one can soothe her except mom.

I also can't eat my food in peace, even with three other adults here and me being in another room. She crawled towards the room I was in and baby gates were opened and she was busy trying to stand on me. Five minutes to eat my cereal; that's all I wanted!

Attempt #1 at a morning nap failed. When I walked into the nursery, I could immediately smell why. Unfortunately, even with a fresh diaper, attempt #2 isn't looking like a slam dunk either. At least I've got coffee, and plans to go shopping with my mom later. She hasn't seen ds for two weeks while she was on vacation, so I may get to actually enjoy shopping and eat lunch while she gets baby snuggles. Win-win

Happy Sunday! Catching up on the drama from last night, somewhat anti-climatic. At least my first sip of coffee wasn't that way. Church and grocery shopping over here. We will probably go for a walk later and enjoy the weather. We have some cleaning to do as well, we're finally getting our new roof tomorrow and adding skylights to our bedroom upstairs!

Prayers for a healthy baby @hazeldublin,!

The whole family slept until 8:30 am! This hasn't happened in forever! V did wake up at 6 am, and started to play/ talk, but soon fell back asleep on her own. Somehow, she was able to get where her camera is on top of the crib and rip it down. That made for a crazy 6 am wake up on my part!

So, we slept in too late to make it to church. We just finished up breakfast, and now I'm enjoying coffee. Today, we will prob catch church online, and then after V's first nap, head out to shop for baby proofing supplies. I also need to start getting organized for me and V's trip back home this week. Flying solo with the little chica!

We are going to my in law's today for FIL's birthday dinner. We haven't seen my SIL and her family since Christmas, so it will be nice seeing them, and fun for O to see her cousins.

I got mad at DH because he didn't want to go to the park with us yesterday to be there when O swings for the first time. I know I want to be there for all of her firsts and I don't get why he doesn't. Did I overreact?

Good morning!! We had a super busy day yesterday....baby shower at 1:00 followed by a birthday party. A friend's niece was turning 1, so we had to be there for the festivities. Can't believe that's going to be all of us in a few months!!

Today H is taking SD to the movies for some daddy/daughter time. I'm hoping T will take a nap so I can clean and baby-proof a bit. She's not crawling yet, but she's getting frustrated and wanting to move. Better get a jump on things.

shahoi I have the same issues with MH. The little things don't seem as important to him as they are to me.

Just had a blow-out with MH over him feeling like he's doing all the prep/repair work on the house were getting ready to list Monday. This basically led to a fight about all the things because God forbid we stay on topic and don't have WW3 every damn time.

So, fixing to stick A in the pack-n-play and head outside since it's warm and sunny today to get some of my work done....

Today has been lovely. Last night was better, which was a good start! L wore the dress that her aunty sent from China (H's older sister lives in Beijing). Church, and L had a lovely time in crèche. Then we went to my parents' for lunch and they'd made a delicious slow cooked beef stew. I'm so glad we persuaded my parents to move here to be near us! They have their moments, but it's lovely to see L developing a relationship with her grandparents.

We've also found three houses that we want to look at, so H is going to see if he can arrange them for an afternoon when he can work from home. We were hoping to convert an old primary school but our offer wasn't accepted, so now we need to house search.

H is currently digging the garden and L is about to drop off. I love lazy Sundays.

Thank you! We just landed. The kids did so well. Even despite being held in a private room for 30 minutes because they found explosive residue on my hands!! No idea why that happened!!!
