CPM: Where does your child eat?

Just curious where everyone's tots are eating these days. I think our regular high chair's days are numbered. I can't be the only one.

Highchair.

Whenever I put him up to the table in his highchair he usually ends up playing around & pushing himself away from the table (our high chair has wheels).

Highchair pulled up to the table. We have the space saver, but usually still use the tray just to contain mess. I don't often give him a plate yet. He is starting to really want to sit in a big person chair, but since the space save is a booster too, he is going to be in that for a while yet.

She chooses. Some days she wants to be in a big chair, some days she wants her booster, some days she wants her highchair. I don't fight that battle.

Depends on the food. If it's messy then he is in the high hair. If the potential mess isn't too bad I let him sit at the table. We don't have a booster yet, he just sits on his knees. Because of his I'm still kind of debating a booster.

We do all of our eating at our island and have a chair hooked onto the counter top there. She eats there with no fuss!

We never had a full high chair- we had one that strapped to a regular chair with a tray that coverts to just a booster. We had been using it as a booster pulled up to the table for a long time and it was working great, until he figured out he could push himself away from the table. So he started pushing himself back as far away from the table as he could but got mad when he couldn't reach the food. But he also got mad if we scooted him back up lol. Toddlers!

So now we've reverted back to using the attachable tray. He can't push himself away from that lol

Space saver high chair pulled up to the table, like we've always done. Still using the tray because it's way less mess to clean up.

We just moved her to a booster.

I voted high chair but it is really a booster with a tray. I won't pull her up to the table until she decides utensils are worthwhile.

Highchair sometimes, booster sometimes. At daycare she likes to eat at at the kid sized table in a kid sized chair, she actually will run there at breakfast time to make sure she does not get put in a highchair. I would love to have a kid sized table and chair at home for her, but I feel like she would outgrow it so fast

We have a booster at the table and we have a clip on high chair at our kitchen bar. He almost always eats breakfast at the high chair because it's where we are in the morning. The booster is for lunch/dinner when we are home.

We have a high chair with wheels. We had the space saver but had to switch because she would push herself over.

We still have the highchair in the kitchen, but he only uses the booster in a chair at the table. The only thing I don't like about it is that he always pushes a piece underneath the table top with his feet and leans the chair back way too far. DH said he knocked it back last night and the back of it hit the kitchen counter/bar l. It saved him from falling all the way back, but he hit his head. I usually have to hod the chair down with my feet, but he's strong and it's annoying.
