DH and I have been asked to share our experience/story of the adoption process on Monday at a panel for potential adoptive families during their PRIDE training (not sure if this is the same training required other places, but is what is required in Canada...this session is an extra session for families seeking foster to adopt and around openness through CAS) . I know our story is just that, but just curious others thoughts on the things you would have liked to have heard from a panel such as this regarding the adoption process....TIA!

Oh, I just realized you may not have fostered. Well, at this stage I can honestly say I would be worried about parental access in an open adoption. How many phone calls, visits, etc. are handled.
