Today is DD1's birthday so it is a full day of spoiling her for me we went to the indoor playground this morning and now we are grabbing lunch and meeting my husband at the park.
The weather is going to be gorgeous this week so I'm really excited!
We were going to go to the museum today, but I forgot they are closed on Mondays during the winter or school year or something, so we are working on a revised plan. Depending when the rain is due to start, maybe a bike ride. I have some paperwork I would like to avoid.
younglove316 I hope she has a great day! It's been a bit of weird day here with the baby napping more than usual and at odd times. I went to the grocery store during normal nap time and it was so bizarre to be out around 2pm. I can't remember the last time I left the house at that time!
It's in the 60s here so I'm hoping to take a good walk outside after dinner. So happy for spring weather.
Add me to the club of yay springtime! Today was so nice and it's supposed to last all week! younglove316, hope y'all had a terrific day celebrating. cam, I hate when places like that are closed on the weekdays, so annoying! Hope you found something else to do.
Potty training is still going well. This week we started putting regular underwear on DD. At first she just sat on the potty with her undies and peed through them. This happened almost all morning and afternoon but by the evening she was saying "undies off" or "pee" to signify that she needed to go so I helped her take her undies off. Hopefully it keeps improving!
I also had my bi-weekly starbucks today, lots of nomnoms.
I've been crazy lately and have barely even been around. We had some family trouble with my niece last week. We are also trying to make amends with my husbands family so I've been trying to be there and focus on making those relationships better.
Plus just general life for a sahm of 4 kids with a bazillion different activities.
younglove316 I hope she had a great day celebrating icequeen I'm glad potty training is going so well for you. I hope to start trying more with DD once we are settled in the new house.
We close on our house in 6 days!!!! I'm really excited. Today DD has been walking around saying she wants to go to her "new house" and watch Elmo at her "new house". I told her next week we can watch Elmo at the new house. I decided to only paint the bedrooms and leave the kitchen and living room the colors they already are, a sandy brown/tan, if I remember correctly. I wish I would've taken a picture. I just know I won't be up to painting an entire house.
penguin129 hooray for moving soon! Hopefully all goes well! How have you been feeling?
Thanks and thanks for asking I've had mostly bloating, gas, and sore boobs. I'm starting to have to pee more often. I haven't had any morning sickness yet, but I realize I still could. I never had any with DD and am hoping to be lucky this time too. I am starting to feel more tired and apparently it shows because the cashier at Goodwill said I looked exhausted and H said the same thing later that day.
DD and I got back home last night...it's so nice to home. Surprisingly, my mil was on her best behavior. She didn't start any trouble between me and my husband, and only annoyed me a few times.

I just called to set up the wire transfer for closing on Monday. It won't be sent until tomorrow, but they assured me the title company should have it before noon. This weekend is going be long...

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a 4 month old to nap? I feel like I've tried absolutely everything and she just won't do it. She stays awake sometimes for 5 hours at a time and by then is a fussy mess of course. I am becoming very short with my toddler and losing my patience. This is really pushing me and I have no clue what to do.
My DD when she was was that age would fall asleep if she was moving. I would rock her to sleep or put her in a little mechanical swing. If I was really desperate and neither of those worked I would take a drive with her in the car.

I may have to start going for drives. We have the mamaroo and she isn't a fan of it. We have the rock n play that moves on its own but it's hit or miss if it will work or not. I'm pretty sure she just hates sleep.
