Morning! It's confirmed. Leo has new teeth coming in. 4! It's 2 first molars and the 2 canines, all of them on top. So he'll have 8 teeth total on top and the 4 on the bottom. All in a row. Poor bebe, no wonder he has been so cranky and temperamental.
It feels so warm out today! I hope it doesn't rain and DH can Leo to the park. I took him out yesterday evening to the front yard and he kept trying to run away from me. He is one fast baby.

littlelion well that explains it! Hope they all cut through quickly.
We spent part of the morning in the bath tub due to tornado sirens. All clear now. We got some crazy wind and hail.
I'm thinking about going to yoga later this morning. I usually just go Mondays, but I want to try power yoga at the gym. The Monday class is nice and relaxing, but I want something that'll make me work.
Good morning all! Intense week ahead. I'm trying for a promotion at work so have been doubling down on extra stuff, and still moving and getting the new place set up on top of that. Add in a teething toddler... All the coffee.
I'd like to find a good yoga class too, but the places in walking distance of our apartment don't have exactly what I'm looking for. Think Jersey Shore style yoga. Lol
My FFTC: It's primary day in my state and I'm mostly annoyed by all the crap people are posting on facebook.
No, your rant/political meme/whatever is not going to help me decide. I'll read up on the candidates myself, thank you very much. And I don't need an inspirational instagram quote to help me to remember to vote. I have a calendar.
I think I'm PMSing too and it's making me crabby. I just want to see cute babies and funny cat pictures on my facebook.
Eta: apparently I forgot how to gif. Womp womp. Wait. Yay! I did it. Lol
littlelion omg! Poor Leo and poor you. That's a lot of teeth all at once. Thanks for the reminder to check the canines- lo has been teething like crazy too and I just assumed it was bottom molars next. Have fun at the park! BabyStandish that sounds scary! Glad you guys are safe. bkmama0 good luck with the promotion and the move! That's a lot all at once.
Sitting in the parking lot at my job interview. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get here so I left early. Turns out it's 40 minutes...UGH. It is closer to the HS my oldest will attend in the fall, so it could be a win...we will see.
After this interview, I'm getting ALL the coffee. I didn't want to have stinky coffee breath during the interview so I held off. I can already feel my caffeine-addicted brain rebelling!
I put a bunch of books in the bathtub which helped LO not want to escape. He was ready to get out after about 10 min though and by then the real bad stuff had passed so we were good.
I am going to lose it. I HATE my IL's dogs. They bark constantly during nap time, they growl and snap at her when LO tries to pet them (she's really nice!), and have no sense of what discipline is. My mom's pitbull is a better family pet than these hellions. ARG!!

That is so scary. Glad nothing happened. You should move to Chicago, no tornado's or hurricanes here!
Whew. I am tired. It was our good friend's birthday so we hung out with him all weekend. BBQ Friday night, hockey game Saturday, and then a formal dinner on Sunday. He bought a HUGE 20 lb. bone in prime rib when it's cheapest at Christmas and brought that bad boy out. I helped him make the prime rib and offered to make popovers, but ran out of time. DH flew to Palm Springs yesterday for a week long conference. He's been programming and coding his heart out so his company can show off his software and hopefully get some buyers! FIL had knee surgery this morning. He's doing fine and resting in his hospital room. For some reason, he thinks he's going to miraculously stand and walk around without any assistance three days after surgery. Luckily, I'm here to help (MIL did not take the week off), but I warned him that he's on his own for bathroom duties. LO is teething hard core. All of her top teeth are trying to poke through at once right now. I can't keep socks on her because she keeps ripping them off and shoving them in her mouth to chew on. It's cute, but weird. And nothing else I give her is a good enough substitute to help relieve the hurting. Needless to say, should be an interesting week.
littlelion it went really well. It's a cool place. I think they liked me-they were already talking compensation. So hopefully?
Thankfully the interview went well to balance out the rest of my crazy day. Had to go pick up the oldest from school- she called crying and really upset. Turns out her friend was telling her all about how she and her BF had sex and she hoped she was KU. She is FOURTEEN. My daughter was so upset that her friend would be so reckless. Needless to say I had to spend the afternoon talking to the principal and dealing with all of this. Very proud of my girl tho!
THEN we go to pedi because of baby's belly troubles. She tells me to stop the formula (we've been doing some boob and some toddler formula because she wasn't a fan of milk initially). She says to me "go back to breastfeeding full time. Why would you want to stop? It's your last baby! You can't get that time back!" Cue to me sobbing in my car. I've been having a lot of health issues and trying to get baby off the boob for my health and my sanity. She knows that but totally put her own shit on me. I know I don't have to listen but I left feeling absolutely horrible. I'm just sitting here on my couch, feeling like someone kicked me in the stomach. I need to make dinner and pick up from baseball and do homework and all I want to do is curl up and cry. The upside of this is it will only make me a better provider when I graduate. This teaches me even more about what not to do to patients and families. Ugh. I think I'm going to call an audible on Tuesday and hope Wednesday is less of a bitch.
ourcrazynavylife enjoy your time with your mom! BabyStandish hopefully there's no more bad weather for you guys. raven ugh, those dogs sound like a pain in the ass. I hope your IL'S appreciate you helping FIL out after his surgery! Lo went through a phase where he wanted to chew his socks. So weird! kcrus I'm glad the interview went well! I'm sorry the rest of the day was a went to shit though. That's awful that your pedi talked to you like that. I know you've got a lot on your plate, but I hope you're able to do something for you tonight. You deserve it! Hugs, mama.

kcrus Hugs to you mama! Big fat creepy Internet hugs. ashlantic My DH is annoyingly political and I'm borderline apathetic. I feel you on the FB crap. Just give me funny memes not political crap - downside of being FB friends with a bunch of lawyers. raven GL with a healing FIL and teething baby! BabyStandish My aunt texted me that the weather down there was crazy and my FB has all kinds of damage pics from the winds I guess? Looks scary! ourcrazynavylife Have fun with your mom! bkmama0 GL on your promotion! littlelion Jealous of your warm day! It was raining and cooler than it has been today. It sucked!
kcrus I'm sorry. Sending hugs. Sorry to all the teething baby mamas. I can commiserate. Molars are NO JOKE. ashlantic my LO is so wiggly. His hair grows soooo fast I wish I could do my own trimming but I don't trust myself! Going for haircut number 5 or 6 next week.
DH is away on business. I hate being alone. LO has been extra beastly with molars coming in. Sigh.
Field trip with my first graders to the aquarium tomorrow!
kcrus sorry your pedi was such a bitch. Could she be less helpful? Perhaps trying a different formula might help, the sensitive one? And wow, teen sex, not looking fwd to that. I had a friend gku at 13 never saw her in school again
Has anyone else watched the new game of thrones trailer??? I'm beyond excited!
Just watched it with dh. So excited!! I'm actually excited that it's going beyond the books. It'll be fun not knowing what's going to happen. I just hope it doesn't start as slow as last season!
