Thanks nymama917 and frecklesnbrains . My feet started swelling over the last two weeks, so now I'm left wondering what to wear on my feet at work. Most days it's too cold to wear sandals (with the exception of the warm spell we're having this week). I have no work appropriate closed-toe shoes that still fit. I found those ballet flats in the trunk of my car and put them on thinking they would fit fine. Still my feet barely fit. Meanwhile, I've completely given up on my work dress code. Tights and a tunic is not exactly work appropriate. My boss and coworkers are wearing suits, slacks and dresses. But they're lucky I'm wearing clothes at this point.

I think pregnant women get a pass on work clothes, to a certain extent. I wore yoga pants to see patients the other day. They -almost- looked like stretchy black dress pants... As for shoes - I gave up on fancy shoes a long time ago (pre-pregnancy). I wear clogs or riding boots most of the time.

I agree completely! I have considered asking my dr for a note to wear sandals but I've just decided to wait till I get spoken to. Up until last year we were allowed to wear them, but someone broke a toe and now it's all closed toe footwear. Because a ballet flat would have protected her from a broken toe?!
